MD I hope everything went well yesterday!!
Clare sorry I have no idea, sounds like it isn't bothering her though. Hopefully the GP has a simple explanation.
A big hello to everyone else I hope everyone is well.
I remember now what I wanted to ask you all. L is obsessed with bugs. He squashes ants all the time and catches flys (so gross), the prob is that he is now picking up and squashing spiders and event though we get the house sprayed I am worried he will touch a redback or something. I am thinking perhaps Santa should bring him a bug catcher and a book about bugs what do you think?
-
Oz - sounds like a good gift to me! N is also quite into bugs and hs friend is obsessed with them - i guess it is a stage... isnt it amazing how you tspeak about someting and findout all these other kids areinto them too.. i find it amazing how it naturally happens that N is suddenylu interested in dinosaurs etc - all the stereotypical suff that kids get into...
Girls the night time feeds are KILLING me... i dont know what to do... J is waking every 1.5-2 hrs (max) and having a small comfort feed each time.. he self settles in the day and to go down for the night most of the time.. what do i do?? help!
-
hi girls
L is obsessed with dinosaurs, sharks and flies LOL i bought him a dinosaur doona cover and he loves it.
clare- how is L? could it be a throat infection?
mp- have you tried co-sleeping? not sure if you're into it or not, but i am co-sleeping with J and find it the best way to get lots of sleep.
arte- i've bought a cross trainer off ebay- just waiting for it to arrive. i'm going to try to do half an hour every morning before J wakes up and while L watches cartoons. i feel so blllaaaaaaa just never doing any exercise.
hope you are doing ok MD
it's pouring rain here today so we have been baking- choc cupcakes yum!
-
MP, I lived with 1-2 hour wake ups for over a year, so I am nooo help to you lol
Oz, W loves bugs. We got him a couple of bug books, one is a picture one with dozens of bugs on each page to find, the other is a life sized guide to NZ bugs. He has learned heaps from them, can probably name more kinds of bugs than I can. Have you tried telling L that some spiders can bite and to ask you first? It has worked here, W picks up everything else but doesn't touch spiders or mosquitos.
Better go and entertain A, I forgot that they like all your attention all the time lol
-
Clare - did you get in to the doctor with Leila? What have you decided to do on the weekend, I find getting out makes a huge difference to how quickly the day goes, even if it's just a walk to the park.
MP - no sorry, can't help you with the wakeups. Unusual for him to self settle fine during the day, but needing a comfort feed at night. Have you tried chatting to the MACH nurse?
Bugs - K is into bees. Every bug she sees, I tell her what it is and she shakes her head and says 'No mummy, bee!' Definitely like the idea of a bug catcher though.
Well I managed to get out of a trip to Wollongong for work this week which is good. Why does everything need to be done before Christmas when it just sits on people's desks for all of January??
K's sleeping still isn't going so well. She just wakes for no reason and needs a cuddle and goes straight back to sleep (most of the time). Last night is the only time there was a reason, the cat was curled up at the end of the bed and she had a freak out about that. The only nice thing is that we have now had 4 days with a 7am sleep in. She tends to hop in with one of us in the spare room about 4 or 5am. She had a bit of a virus on the weekend I think, bright red cheeks and runny poos, but seems to be on the mend.
This morning she was walking around the house saying 'No school, pool!' - Very cute!!
-
MP sorry I have no advice on the wake up's. I hope he turns a corner for you soon though. L loves dinosaurs too.
Arte we have tried to tell him that they might bite etc but he either forgets or doesnt care lol. Those books sound good. I thought if we start reading and learning about them he might learn which ones he can touch and which he cant and that buying a bug catcher will stop him squashing all the bugs lol.
G send some of those cupcakes this way please.
Just had Z's needles done and feel horrible. I was in two minds about having them done and after hearing her scream I am not sure I could do it again
-
Hi girls!
MP: hmm in all honesty i am not sure! Leila was a *fairly* consistent sleeper and when/if she woke at night as a youngish bub i would boob it to her and go back to bed. but at 1.5 hours at a time it does seem really excessive (ie., like his sleep pattern is a bit whacked out). what happens if you either let him grizzle for a minute or two or just try a resettle? or does he wake up fully? sometimes when leila was smaller she would grizzle and i would be in with her but i realised that she wasnt actually fully awake (even her eyes were open at times!). so i would just gently touch her belly or back and sing her soft bedtime lullaby...could be time for a DH week of settling!
Oz: ohhhh the poor wee things can really cry with those needles! the best bit after a vax though are the boobie feeds and the comfort that it provides. hope that she is ok today and not too upset xx
Arte: was the x trainer insured? sounds annoying that it got damaged on teh way! when we moved to Fiji we managed to only have a few glasses break...despite it all sitting on the docks at Suva for like 6 weeks...
Cally: ahhh wollongong is nice though! although for work it probably would be a bit boring...and you're right, the timing just before xmas is a bit rich!
Ginger: mmmmm choccy cupcakes!!! coming to your house!
MD: thinking of you babe! hoping you have all your people that you need around you xx
AFM: well i think you girls are right and i am not panicking! Leila seems fine. she does look a little pale and her sleep is slightly disturbed, but overall she is happy. i had a look today (couldnt get into the GP today...have to wait til saturday!) and it is def on the one side only. it is really massive and appears to be her tonsil (ahhh the memories of my ordeal come to the fore LOL!).
-
hey everyone,
still plague house here lol.. gastro fairy still hasnt completely left us :( its been pretty horrible.. lots of fights with dh because hes sick now too so ofc i should just wait on him even tho im really sick too grrr..
have alot to do but still feeling quite sick.. really need to go out today but just dont know if im up to it.. Ashas school xmas party tmw and i really want to get something for the teachers as well as i needa buy a loaf of bread cozz i volanteered to make some fairy bread lol..
Williams started to take a dummy now.. very strange.. thought he just wasnt going to be a dummy boy but these last few days everyones been sick and settling him has been difficult so i decided to give it a shot and now hes wanting one much more.. i kinda feel annoyed at myself because i dont like how attatched asha is to hers but at the same time am greatful for an easy way to settle him.. he would never take one before, wasnt interested and always spat it out.. bit weird but oh well..
hows everyone going with their xmas shopping? have got a few things left to do.. got a friend of mine to take some pro shots of the kids.. theyre sooo cute! cant put on fb till after chrissy tho coz im gonna give them as presents lol.. were doing mostly home made xmas gifts this year.. i spent a rediculous amount on the kids and dh so im trying to be sensible with everyone else.. as well as trying to instill in asha some sort of christmas spirit etc etc.. shes made cards and paintings and ive laminated them and asha did green handprints with glitter and i did red foot prints with glitter of billys and cut them out and laminated them and punched a hole in them and will put ribbon thru and give them as xmas decorations.. so those things with a few nice photos of the kids is what most ppl will be getting, maybe something baked as well if i get around to it..
hope everyones having a nice day :)
-
hi everyone - probably going to be a fairly selfish post...
Noni - hope you are all on the improve now...
well, i had a car accident this morning.... with J in the car.. thankfully N was not in the car, w were meeting him and DH at DH work for bfast before the wiggles concert. basically i was driving up the road near DH work and someone turned right as i was going past... crashed into the rear passenger side (Noah's side - so glad he wasnt int here) and my car span and i drove onto the median strrip knocking over 3 wooden bollards and a one way sign... v scary... J screamed as we had impact and then stopped... which freaked me out but he was ok... the other driver was a young guy, has adnitted it was his fault etc... so awful... so glad N wasnt in car a? bc he may have been hurt and b? bc he would have been freaked out and scared i think. anyway lots of witnesses (including brendan nelson who was lovely)
sooo i am a little freaked out and in shock today...
and i didnt even get to take N to the concert (but DH did). N was wondering why i parked there...
be back later (sorry!)
-
:hug::hug: MP how awful and scary for you. I am glad your all ok.
-
OMG!! Pap, are you ok? i'm so glad N wasn't in the car xoxox
-
Oh MP!!!! i had cold shivers reading that!!! Oh gosh. i am soooooooo relieved that you guys are ok (apart from the shock, which is TOTALLY understandable!). oh gosh. that must have been terrifying!
Hope you are holding up ok...keep an eye on yourself for shock and all that ok? it can creep up. get loads of cuddles from DH!
thinking of you babe.
-
Oh no MP what a scare!!! Thank god N wasnt in the car, thats just so scary. I am so glad you are both ok.
Just popping on to send lots of love & best wishes for a speedy recovery for MD.
Sorry girls been a bit mia lately, feeling a bit down about the whole ttc crap, trying to avoid BB a bit so I dont think about it as much.
-
sorry MM, i really hope some baby dust comes your way soon xoxo
-
hi girls
quiet day today, hope everyone's doing ok...
just bought jimmy the cutest little pair of shoes, they're those soft leather ones and they've got little peas in a pod on them, so divine. the girls in the shop thought he was the prettiest little girl ever LOL
not much happening around here. my brother and his gf want to change xmas lunch to 5pm so that they can go to the MILs house for lunch. i cracked it! i hate waiting around all xmas day. xmas is over by 4pm as far as i'm concerned, especially when you've got 2 small kids. i told dad we'd be turning up at 10am and eating chips and toast if we had to, and that was that!
-
MM:
MP: how are you doing babe?
MD: hope the healing fairy has sprinkled you lots and lots xx
AFM: not much to report. except that DH left this morning for NZ. i told leila that he went on the plane and she promptly ordered a plane to take her to kindy LOL! she actually threw the biggest tantrum when i told her that no, we cant catch a plane to kindy...devastation!
-
Mp - big hugs, hope you're feeling better about the whole thing now.
Ginger - totally agree with you, there is no way I could hang around until an evening dinner, especially with two little ones.
Clare - Lol at the tantrums they have. We had a massive one last night because I put natural yogurt on her chili con carne when she wanted her vanilla yogurt we had bought that afternoon at the shops. I explanined numerour times that her yogurt was just for breakfast, but after ten minutes I told her that if I counted to three and she was still whinging she could go to her room for a couple of minutes - I didn't even get to one and she'd already stopped!
Noni - hope you and the others are on the mend up there.
Trill - welcome back from your holiday, tell us all about it! Did A like playing in the ocean? How many loads of washing have you had to get through??
Childcare Christmas party this evening, hope the sunny weather keeps up and we don't get the showers they are predicting.
-
Hi ladies just popping in - have been reading on my ph but don't have a lot of oomph so only short little stints. Exhausting work holding ph. Just wanted to pop in give big hugs to mm, noni and
Mp. brendan nelson is lovely, so glad u r all safe- someone is watching over u for sure. Xx
Re bugs - we have introduced the "danger!" don't touch cocncept . Works for bees snakes spiders elec outlets. We use big voice & snatch our hands back gesture to reinforce the meaning.
As for me it looks like I might be in a little longer as there is a bit of worry about the blood supply to the recon when I am upright so still on my back for most of the time. Am downplaying it to family cos I can't handle thevhysterical worry but but my dr is a bit nervous about it failing. So doing lots of deep breathing & visualizing it full of life energy. Accepting all healing vibes!
Can someone copy last para over to mssgs thread. I'm pooped. Xxxxx
-
MD, I copied your post over to the other thread xx
MP, OMG that must have been so scary! So glad N wasn't in the car and that J is too little to be scared beyond the initial accident.
Ginger, I agree - I would rather eat a sandwich at lunchtime than drag out the whole day waiting for an evening meal. It is presents in the morning, then a quiet lull, then lunch then the day pretty much returns to normal around here.
I have heaps of things I have been meaning to say for ages but I never seem to get the chance. We are going away this weekend to the beach, so hopefully the good weather holds. We ended up buying a dvd player for the car because to go anywhere is at least an hour each way from here and W is such a bad traveller. Hopefully it works.
Both kids slept though last night, A had a feed at 6am then they both slept until 8!
W's behaviour has improved, he isn't as compliant as he used to be but much better than a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if it was just a natural progression or if the vitamins I started him on have had an effect.
-
MD sending all the healing vibes I can muster.
Cally I wish they were predicting showers up here, have fun at the party.
Arte woo hoo on the sleep. What vitamins is W on? L still isn't eating very well so we are going to get him some kids multi's I think.
Cassius how cute that L wanted to take a plane to school. As the kids get older we will have to start writing down the funny things they say.
G I wouldnt want to wait the whole day with 2 kids. We will be doing pretty much what Arte does.
-
G: i too would be peeved at the change of plans. i dont do xmas dinner. mostly because like the others have mentioned..pressies in the morning, big lunch to the point of explosion and then nanna naps on and off until bedtime lol!
MD: sending loads and loads and more bucketloads of healing energy your way. xx you did well to type that message so soon after the op! and totally understand you not wanting to unnecessarily burden the family ATM...of course you dont want to shoulder all of it either on your own. i'm guessing your DH knows though?
Arte: ahhh so the sleep-in of the kidlets explains the cake baking at 7.30 this morning....:D
Cally: *snap* we too have the xmas kindy party!
hmm it has started bucketing down with rain...and we are on a bike home...shoulda taken the plane lol.
-
md- so nice to hear from you! healing vibes your way xoxo
clare- hhmm i think getting the plane home in the rain would've been a much nicer option! LOL
arte- i swear you will think the car dvd player is the best thing you've ever bought! we love ours
thanks for all your support re: xmas day. i was beginning to feel like i'm a psycho diva but i just think xmas dinner is stooopid. waiting around all day counting down the hours with 2 liitlies. my bro's gf is a total ball-breaking PITA. i'm tired of her calling the shots.
-
LOlclare the plane would have been handy!!
Thanks for all the good wishes and positive vibes - i am still a bit feaked uout by it all and of course layed awake half the night (the half iw asnt feeding LOL) thinking about all the 'what ifs...' i'll give myself today to worry/beat myself up and then move on i guess. i have a hire car now - ONG it is MASSIVe - one of those huge fords... dont like driving it! i feel like a 60 yr old man who has spent all his super on his dream car. Outlaws are coming this weekend, my FIL is going to love the car... not quite the yummy mummy mobile i wanted...
MD - so glad you are doing ok... what does it mean re the blood supply? i hope you are feeling good and sharing the burden, how is the fam getting along with you in hospy. thinking of you.
G - well obv i dont do xmas but i wouldnt be waiting around all day...
i reckon my boys and your J shold enter a baby girl comp... lol
btw got a nice shipment of oobi yest... oops! one of te little sunday suits for J - the rest were pressies...
Arte - jealous is all i can say (of the sleep)
-
md - sending super healing vibes ur way xoxox
mp - big hugs hope ur feeling much better now
g - i agree xmas dinner is a silly idea.. especially with kids!!
had ashas xmas party today.. it was great she really loved it and had a great day. still feeling off.. its really awful how long this is drawing out for :( i mean im not running to the toilet anymore but just a general feeling of crappyness :(
hope everyones having a good day!
-
Yes of coursedh knows - he is often here when the surgeons seeing me- it's more the parents who just don't need to be worrying. Mp the recon is made using tissue & muscle from the back which is still connected to it's original blood vessels. The surg can interrupt the supply & worse case the tissue can die & needs to be removed. My supply is good when I'm lying down but it gets pale& cool when I'm upright so it means I can only get up for short times so hence resting in hossy for longer. Blood supply will get better as time goes on so they tell me. I'm really just concentrating on sending my new boobie lots of love so she wants to stick around LOL. It really is a weird shape, it will settle down but I think it will have a couple of funny lumps & a flat spot permanently. My patchwork puppy LOL
Ginger just have chrissy lunch without them !! Litle kids take priority on christmas
-
Oz, we are just giving him normal kids multivitamins. I usually consider vitamins to be a giant con, but he really eats bugger all so I wouldn't be surprised if he is deficient in something.
MD, hope the blood supply sorts itself out quickly. How are the girls doing? I am sure your DH is doing a good job of keeping the wheels turning while you are away.
Ginger, I am not dreading the trip so much with the dvd player, I hope it works.
Clare, forgot to say poor L - that face injury sounded very ouchy.
That makes me wonder - how much are your kids eating? On an average day W eats:
half a cup of cereal
half of an apple/banana
chocolate chips off the top of a muesli bar
marmite cruskit
and dinner is anything from half a chicken nugget to 1.5cups rice/pasta, depending on his mood.
Amelia is doing really well. She just about hyperventilated with excitement when W was waving a peice of toast around the other day lol - she is super interested in anything we are eating.
She is around the 90th percentile for her height and weight, she can reach the ground in the Jumperoo and she loves it.
W has been walking around breastfeeding his glowbug, very cute! Better go, he has just told me that our christmas tree 'fell' down yet again lol
-
Hi girls!
MD: ah yeah, I prolly wouldnt give too many details to the extended fam either. In fact, i only just yesterday told mum the details of resus moment in teh middle of the night at the hossy when i had the tonsilitis and blood toxicity thang happening. i guess it is a way of ensuring that we dont need to 'look after' their emotion and turmoil while we are needing to focus on our own ITMS. sending lots and lots of good strong and healthy blood flow vibes your way!!
Arte: Dont know if you wanna hear this but Leila eats like a horse. for brekkie she'll have a bowl of cereal, a tub of yoghurt and a slice of nutter toast (peanut butter on toast). then she'll have a morning tea snack of crackers or fruit. Lunch is a full hot meal usually along with a sandwich and some more fruit or a muesli bar. Afternoon tea is a muesli or fruit bar and Dinner is a plate of whatever we are eating along with some yoghurt chaser... but she is tiny. only in the 25th% on the charts, so i figure she just has a mega fast metabolism and most probably just goes straight through her lol!
Noni: sounds like you are on the mend...have you got multivitamins or some kind of probiotic that you can take to help boost your system after the gastro?
-
well, i would say Lewis sits somewhere inbetween William and Leila on the eating stakes LOL some days he definitely eats more than others, and sometimes it depends what the food on offer is iykwim? like, he can put away a whole happy meal no worries whatsoever but will pick the cheese out of a salad sandwhich and leave the rest- cheeky bugger!
he has a habit of eating the tops off crumpets, cheese and bacon rolls etc. ie. only eating the good stuff. very annoying.
having a quiet home day around here today. gotta go to a xmas dinner for dh's work tonight- leaving L with dad but taking J.
well Falguni will be happy to know that it looks as though we're staying right here in the hills for a few more years. i think that dh began to realise that the grass may be greener but it's just as hard to mow iykwim? and began to realise how good we have it here. i tell you what, some of the absolute dumps in sydney that we were looking at on the internet for 750k really gave us some perspective on how good we've got it!
-
Hey buddies where is everyone?
(*crickets chirping*)
I'm away for a week and what happens? You better all get chatting again cos I'm going home tomorrow. New boob starting to look like one, good colour now, not going to turn blue and drop off haha.
-
That's good because I would hate to think that you are doomed to spend the rest of your life walking around in circles from only having one counterweight ;) Seriously though, it's super wonderful to hear that you are heading home and that the boobenheimer looks like it is supposed to look. I had a tear in my eye knowing that we are going to have you around for a long time yet and that the outcome was the best possible one to get
As for me, well it just never stops around here! I am finally caught up on Avs. Uni is all set to go for next year and the kids are great.
-
hi girls!
MD: ooohhhh home time!!!!! so so stoked that your booby is healing! what a relief this must be! big phat hugs xx
and you're right, it has been awful quiet lately...hope that's because everyone is busy doing chrissy shopping...
BTW...where is JaZmum?
G: did you read in the paper today that they reckon house prices are going to just get worse (ie more exxy) for the next 3 years at least...urghhh, this means that sydney will get even crazier...if that's possible! so glad that we are no longer in the market.
Sherie: are you excited about going to uni next year? it's for a Bach of Ed isnt it? arghh cannae remember!
AFM: well Dh is coming home tomorrow! YIPEEEEE! have missed him like crazy..which i think is really nice IYKWIM...and we have been calling everyday and chatting for ages: which is a miracle for DH in itself, he really doesnt like phones.
Leila and i went to the rally "walk against warming" yesterday. we had a blast! so many people, it was really fun and friendly and loads and loads of families were part of it. and today we went visiting friends and ate lots of cake...so all good! leila is now having a nanna nap and i will follow shortly.
hope everyone is having a lovely day!
-
Clare it is a Bachelor of Ed (Primary) - I am really looking forward to it. I guess you will have a pretty good reunion with DH? ;)
Someone said something about the washing I had to do on the trip? It wasn't that bad at all as our cabin had a washing machine so I did a few loads to stay on top of it so all I had to wash when we got home were the swimmers and towels because the kids had a swim while I was packing up. It was wonderful to get away. PP, if you want another weekend away I highly recommend Merry Beach - not that much further up the coast from batemans bay and so tranquil. We had no phone coverage unless we walked up the hill and it was nice not to have that link kwim? The kids had a ball - pool to the back of us and beach to the front of us. A didn't like the ocean much though LOL but had a ball making sandcastles. We are planning on going back in March/April next year with friends and staying longer.
Did a bit of shopping in BB on the way back through - spent a bomb at the surf shop on the corner Cally. Brought new havaiana's for A and the tiniest pair of speedos plus some shirts for the kids.
Took A and P to the Bananas in Pyjamas show on Friday and he HATED it! totally freaked him out. he was fine while they had the crowd warmer out - a woman dressed in mrs claus clothes but every now and then a banana would pop his head out and wave at the kids and every time he did it A would freak out and start screaming to go home. He was terrified of them. I think because they were so tall and I don't think he was expecting that kwim? he was OK by the end of the show and we got to 'meet' one but he wouldn't get too close to him.
-
sorry Trill, but i had to laugh at A freaking out at the banannas! i think L would've been really scared too LOL glad you had a great time. it's really nice having no phone reception sometimes isn't it?
just make sure you know the word 'pedagogy' before you start your B Ed LOL because you will hear it NON_STOP!!!!! and it will completely do your head in! LOL you'll know what i'm talking about soon ;)
md- yah for coming home!!! woo hoooooo you're doing so well girl, what a wonderful xmas you'll have this year.
clare- i can't believe house prices are going to go up even more! we've decided to just sit tight as we've git it pretty good here and our mortgage is low. we even have our on dirt-bike track, you can't get that in sydney! LOL
enjoy dh coming home. i wonder if he'll notice leila has grown up since he's been gone?
pap- 30% off everything at CR this thurs...i'm there at 9am!
-
I'm ba-ack!
Clare I can't believe your DH is only getting home now...seems like he was gone for aaaaages! Enjoy the reunion (*wink wink*) yaknow absence makes the heart grow fonder...;).
Trill LOLing at Banana Alert! Glad he warmed up towards the end. Funny little critters. Missy E dances and sings like a cabaret regular at home, FDC, at the shops, etc, but is *always* daunted when it's dance and sing time at kindergym - totally random!
And LOL at escaping a lifetime of walking in circles - tho right now I'm travelling in a loooong slow arc since the NooBoob is BIGGER than the other :o. Not that it matters since they've both squished into the dang ugliest beige post-surgical grandma bra you have ever seen in Your Entire Life including any times you mighta seen your own granny in her underwear. Kinda grateful now I shopped for christmas clothes with high necklines and frill distractions cos all my regular clothes will look awful with this baby on underneath.
Ginger PMSL @ pedagogy. Been there! Re your decision - The grass on the other side might be greener but it's just as hard to mow (Or am I having an opiate moment and you already said that??!). Enjoy your CR time on Thurs!
Apologies to everyone else, I've been reading on the iphone - but can't remember *anything*. Will try to catch up since I'll be sitting in my recliner an awful lot this week! Is Arte on holidays or something? And yeah where's Jazah
Speaking of Where's....MIssy E's learning her Question Words right now. We're getting (endlessly repeated) What you eating, what you doing, where are you, Where daddy? I can tell we're a very short step away from the ULTIMATE toddler word....WHY???!!! Bracing myself for that LOL
-
I guess NooBoob will settle once all the post-op swelling is gone? I think you need to treat yourself to something very sexy and very lacy once you can ditch the ganny bra.
luckily "WHY?" has passed so it's not the reply to every single thing you say LOL. Which is good because it does your head in. You're Lucky MD because you will only have had to do it twice - I've had to do it 4 times
-
Yeah but my first talked about 4 times as much as a regular child so I'm prolly still one kid ahead of you PMSL.
-
Back from our little holiday. Unfortunately a kid that screams and runs inside any time the wind blows tends to not like the beach lol. We didn't even end up going to the water, he would have a meltdown at the suggestion because it is 'too windy for William'. However, we did get to catch up with all my family and we hosted an Xmas BBQ which was good.
MD, so glad to hear about your pathology results and that Nooboob is settling in well.
Clare, wow! L eats more than I do! She must have a super fast metabolism. Where in NZ did your DH go? That is sweet that you still miss each other when you are away. DH and I used to speak on the phone for at least an hour every night when we were younger, now he sends a text every couple of days if he is bored lol
Ginger, are you happy with the decision to stay? In an ideal world I would like to move a bit closer to my family, but there are no jobs for DH in that area so we would take a massive pay cut and the housing is at least twice the price of this house so we really can't afford to move.
Trill, glad you had a good trip away. I was really looking forward to playing at the beach but Captain Disagreeable made sure that didn't happen lol
I saw that Jazah left a message on the facebook page saying she was busy atm, but I haven't had a chance to reply to her.
We have been getting the questions for a while - he asks the question he wants to answer, so you repeat it after him so he can answer it lol. He has started coming up to me saying 'what shall we talk about' and then I have to think of a topic that he wants to talk about.
-
Hey Hot Mumma's
sorry for being a bad buddie....... there is a ton to catch up on.
The kids are all ok... Livi is amazing she is now fully toilet trained and even goes down for her sleep during the day with no pull up on. Ahhhhhh Life if good........ The boys are good too and all 3 are looking forward to seeing what Santa brings them..... sooo cute. I have had a bit of a throat infection last week but am all good now. Father in Law has done a runner on the MIL and we have since found out he is back in the Navy and in Darwin..... Drama Drama Drama...... A bit hard to explain to the kids but we told them he is on a boat again and they seem to be happy with that....
MD- Hugs for you
ART- Bummer on the wind at the beach but sounds nice to catch up with family
Sherie- Congrats on going to uni
Ok I will catch up later
Hello to everyone and have a great day
-
so great to hear from yuo leanne - sounds like a drama filled time atm but you sound so happy...WOW on the TT, that must be great!
I, too, am so sorry i havebeen a bad buddy. life is just hectic atm and i dont have a lot of time on here! today's drama is that it turns out i wrote the car off last week so we are on the hunt for a new car (fast). do any of you have a ford territory - thinking that may be the way to go so i can fit 3 car seats in when the time comes...
clare - wooo hoo on dh coming home. sounds like you and miss L had a fun weekend
MD - so happy for you. i hope you have a wonderful xmas and NY and can put this yr behind you. i am so glad that 'journey' is coming to an end

Hi girls!
Leemar: drama on the high seas it seems! was it totally out of the blue? i guess 'grandpa on a boat' would be good enough reason for the kidlets at this age...
WTG with livvi on the TT! eeensy teensy bit jealous LOL!
Arte: oh dear! what was he afraid of? or was it just the whole idea?
MP: not sure on the car babe...but seeing as though they are so popular with the families there must be a reason! i think the kluger is also a fave for parents...should ask leanne what she got!
Sherie: yeah i am not looking forward to the 'why' stuff i have to admit. my mum still retells stories of me with horror in her eyes lol!
MD: ahh so the granny-bra is like a pressure stocking for the boobies? how long does it have to be used for? and yeah i second Sherie....you soo deserve a MASSIVE splurge on luvely ladie lingere when it is all over...
AFM: all good here. got to hold a new baby today (she is 8 days old!!). a girl at MG had her at 38 weeks and the girl weighed 2.7kgs...just like Leila!!! but in all honesty i just can't remember DD ever being that small IYKWIM (i know, i know cliche and a half lol! but so true!).
Dh got home yesterday! and yes, distance did make the heart grow fonder  LOL!
i took the day off work and we just hung around the house and strolled for coffees. good to have my family back together i must say. ATM we are hiding in the house away from the heat. and tomorrow will hit about 39...i guess it will be shell-pool time...
