Hi lovely friends :) i've missed you all sooooo much!!!
Have a little time on the putie - as Hannah is asleep, and J and Z are doing something special for my b'day, so i've been ordered to stay away.
I have only caught up on the last page, so i do apologise if i have missed any important information.
MD - i'm so happy that you are home and that your new boobenheimer is settling in nicely. You've been in my thoughts constantly.
mp - i shed a couple of tears reading about your car accident :( How horrible for you. I'm sure your angels made sure that N wasn't in the car that day.
noni - loving your av.
sherie - sounds like a wonderful holiday. Congratulations on going to Uni next year. I think you will ace it, and be a fab teacher :)
Ginger - my dad asked me what i wanted for my birthday, and i told him a Country Road gift card. (told him just to pop into the local Australia Post) Just after i spoke to him, i got an email about the 30% off. Mum is going to look after the girls for me so I can get there at opening time. Hope you find some good bargains! I'm after a pair of sandals i saw, and some knee length shorts.
arte - sounds like A is growing beautifully. wonderful that you got to catch up with family while you were on holiday.
clare - sounds like you had a lovely day (and night ) strolling together. Sounds lovely.
Hello to all of you other lovelies too :)
afm - you may have noticed on FB that we've started toilet training. I was worried at the start - but H is doing splendidly so far. She hasn't had any accidents for the past 4 days, and we went shopping today with a pull up on - she went to the toilet twice and came home dry. I'm so proud of her. I do know that we could have a lapse soon. But at least i know that she 'gets it' now.
anyway, i'm hoping to stay tuned and keep up with you all.
catch you soon

OH JAZ!!! we have MISSED you!!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO!!
i wish leila were ready for TT. she just doesnt seem AT ALL interested. we had a moment a couple of months ago, but she got over it lol!
-
YAY Jaz - I am so glad to see you. I have missed you SO MUCH!
Clare - I am with you on the TT. N showed interest a while back but now isnt interested at all. and getsupset if we speak about it. so my continued investment in nappies continues...
-
Happy Birthday Jaz. enjoy your CR spending spree, i think i know the sandles you are talking about- are they the pale almond ones? they are gorgeous!
if you don't end up finding knee-length shorts there, i got a great pair from Witchery- v flattering and comfy.
we are not doing TT here either. he just doesn't seem ready yet. i figure as long as he is trained before kindy starts, then that's ok.
i caught up with junglemum (falguni) today and the kids had a ball. little S is a dare-devil and i think lewis was leading her astray a bit! LOL
-
thanks ladies :)
b'day is tomorrow - but not looking forward to saying i'm another year older. :(
-
Jaz- WTG Hannah on the TT Hope you have a wonderful Birthday tomorrow
MP- OMG I havent even got up to reading about the car accident I hope you are ok. Sorry I dont know much on the ford terriorty. I have a landcruiser and love it.
Claire- FIL- Long drawn out story so condensed down FIL and MIL have been together for 15 years and he leaves her at least once a year..... But this time its for good and I am glad..... I am mad cause the kids adored him and he didnt even say good bye to them so I say he is on the ship and they are ok with that as they are way too young to understand......
-
Happy Birthday Jaz!!!!
G, I didn't think CR would have anything left for you to buy LOL.
Alister is completely not ready to TT yet. He loves wearing his 'spidermans' now but it is like having an un-housetrained puppy. He wets them and then takes them off and gets a new pair. Thankfully it has only been wee ;) I will let him keep wearing jocks though because it's cooler than a nappy. Oh the little bugger has become very adept at undressing himself too LOL.
-
MD-welcome back, so pleased to hear it went well + ur new boobenheimer is looking good. U u so brave, + should b so proud of urself, we are aren't we girls? So let's give MD a BIG massive round of applause!! Hip hip 'hooray'! Hip hip hooray! *everybody clapping*.
Trill-good 2 hear its not only my toddler who likes wearing undies and then telling me after they become wet! Ha. She is starting to despise nappy pants. Happy Birthday!
Leemar-heck sorry about ur FIL. That's sad for the kids.
Mamapan-u aren't the only one lining the huggies owners pockets, T has become disinterested in telling me poo coming or wet nappy. I am sure its only for a time.
Art-glad u had a nice time, W is so funny about the wind. Really inconveniencing him. Lol!
Leemar- wow on the successful tt! Well done. Its also amazing she wakes up dry from a sleep too. How long is the day sleep?
AFM: I had the sore throat thing too! That makes about 3 of us. Feeling a bit better today, was sick sun + yest. T is obsessed by lollipop and icypoles. Lol.we can thank grandma + grandad for that one, along with the 'donalds' obsession. When driving she calls out 'I see donalds' or 'I see hungry jacks!'. The other day we were whispering about our wild birds eating the birdseed we have outside for them and daddy came home and I whisper 'tell daddy what the birds r eating', to which T replies in a whisper 'donalds'. Then she laughs and says 'funny T'.
-
Just wanted to pop i n quickly and say
Happy Birthday Jaz!!
Will try to catch up properly later.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAZ- HOPE YOU HAVE A AWESOME DAY:happybirthday:
SupaB- Livi sleeps for about 1 to two hours. LOL at donalds and hungry jacks my kids love it too.
-
happy birthday our dear friend Jaz! hope you have a fabulous day with your gorgeous girls and wonderful DH. I am keen to see what he buys you this bday after the fantabulous image consultant gift...hope it involves some wonderful pampering for such a busy and special mum. xxx
-
hey everyone
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAZ :) hope u get really spoilt!
im still around just really crazy busy with christmas stuff!!
love to u all!!
-
Happy Birthday to our darling Jazah - Hope you have a lovely lovely day, I'm sure your gorgeous family will spoil you just as you deserve! :birthday2:
Supa, I was cracking right up at Tia telling daddy "donalds" and then cracking up about how funny she is. Watch out you've got a bit of a clown there LOL. Looking forward to a playcafe date in a few weeks time when I'm recuperated, I think T and E will get on really well as they get older.
Noni, I meant to say a few days ago how fantastic your chrissy deccies that you've been making sound! Would love to do something like that with E but dont' have the organising power in me...wish I'd thought of it before surgery .
Ginger, did Ange change her username? Jeeps I completely missed that! LOL Glad you're squeezing in some more catchups, when r they heading off?
AFM - well the world still looks the same from my armchair LOL. Missy E was very clingy to me last night which is awkward because I can't respond physically very well. :( Both girls seem to have come thru the week pretty well - DH did a good job of keeping the routine going and keeping Missy E feeling secure etc and ofc DD1 has BTDT all before when MIssy E was born so she's coped really well and I don't think it's even occured to her at any point that it can all go wrong in hospy, so no stress there for her. Big gigantic massive PHEW from this mummy. She's bored out of her school holiday mind already (ah we're 3 days in!!!) so we're filling out paperwork for a school hol program near here for some excursion days like iceskating, waterslide and movies - break the weeks up a bit for her while i'm still useless. I've got a nurse coming out every day and they're referred me for some free cleaning thru the council but I haven't heard yet if that's approved - hope it is - my poor DH is exhausted. He's been sleeping on the floor cos there's no room left in bed once I'm spread out with my 6 pillows to get comfy LOL. That's true love for you. Dont' know how I got so lucky, really. :)
-
Happy Birthday Jaz!!
MD - that is love, sleeping on the floor! What a great DH you have, so glad that you are home and everything is looking good.
Well done to those with successful TT - Miss K decided on Saturday afternoon that she just wanted to wear undies. I think because I bought up big on nappies that morning.... anyway, one wee in the potty on Saturday, then on Sunday a poo and two wees in the undies. So not a big success, but if she wants to wear undies then I'll let her around the house.
Work is totally flat out, two jobs out for tender at the moment and I'm being pulled every which way. But that's nothing to what poor DH is doing at the moment so things are pretty crazy at home too.
But 2:30 on Tuesday I am out of here!!!
-
hi everyone
Cally - YAY for holidays! are you going to be in canberra or staying put? i am at mollymook from this sat for a week... if you are venturing up that way let me know... would be fun to have a play date (with N this time)
MD so good to see you back... and what a wonderful Dh you have
omg jacob is up... n ot getting any BB time at the moment... will try to come back later

MP, Ford Territory's are nice (don't have one but a friend does). The other car that is similar is a Toyota Highlander. We had one as a rental once and it was great. The rear seats fold completely flat so you have a mega boot when they aren't in use instead of taking up space like some fold up back seats do.
Junglemum, I owe you an apology - I just read the guidelines about not posting someones real name if it isn't in their sig and for some reason I always use your name. So sorry, I won't do that any more. I love your new username and avvy, looks great! How long until you go? How is your brother?
Leanne, WTG Livvi with the TT! That is great! How are your cousins kids doing now?
MD, hope you are feeling alright. Your DH must be made of gold!
Noni, I am very impressed with all your crafty ideas.
Ginger, the DVD player was a life saver! It kept W busy while we stopped multiple times for A. I don't like travelling with two small kids, it is so stressful and I end up very grumpy.
Cally, yay for holidays! Are you going away somewhere? Sorry if you have already said.
Clare, how are you enjoying your home? It must be nice to finally have it after all the house shopping you did. Are you going to visit you Oma at Christmas time?
Toilet training is a no-go here. The suggestion of the potty is enough to cause a meltdown so we are just leaving it until he is a bit more positive about it.
Hopefully the being scared of the wind thing will pass soon, I am going stir crazy stuck inside but he just won't go out. I looked around yesterday and he was just putting the last couple of letters in his alphabet puzzle - he can do the whole thing by himself now! He is getting pretty good with the letters, he can recognise them but gets a bit mixed up with the word- A, B, Cat, Dog, Elephant, F...
Not a lot happening here. For the last two nights Miss A has been waking at 1am and 4am, not sure why but hope she goes back to one wake up soon.
-
Mp - probably won't be up Mollymook way.
arte - we are staying at home for Christmas, then will head up to Canberra on 31st Dec for about a week with my family.
-
Hey Girls,
Art- Thanks for asking but they moved away and I dont know were they moved too. I just hope the kids are doing ok.
whooops I better go and get the wages done ..........yipppeee pay day....
BBL

hey everyone,
sorry im not keeping up.. im really freaking out this morning.. dh had to have an ultrasound on his prostate coz hes got some strange symptoms.. im really worried.. we should get the results back this afternoon i feel so lost.. idk i spose u always think of the worst in these situations im just crossing everything ive got that its not serious... sorry just needed to get that out...
-
Good luck Noni, I am sure it will turn out to be something easily fixed xxoo:hug:
-
Noni- I am sending you huge hugs:hug::hug::hug:
-
Noni - hope everything is OK
-
best of luck noni's dh
went to CR sale this morning, queded(sp) up for 45 mins to get to cash register. luckily dad took L to the play area so i just had J in sling :) spent $600 all up whoops!!! but got lots of size 4 stuff for next season. unfortunately we got home and L threw up everywhere!! hope it's nothing....
L has a new favourite word 'Bartsimpson' all one word. will say it to anyone who will listen.
-
Hi everyone :)
noni - i hope the ultrasound comes back clear and normal. Hugs to you - i can imagine how stressed you must be right now.
thankyou all so much for my birthday wishes. I really appreciated them :)
ginger - whoa - you had fun!!!! I got myself some shoes, but not the ones i intended on buying originally. I fell in love with a pair of Kathryn Leather wedges in Deep Barley instead. Tried on some nice white shorts, but you could see the pockets etc through them, and they looked terrible.
lol at L's new word. Hannah's new one is 'wait-a-sec' - but said altogether.
arte - have you tried flying a kite in the wind - or is it too extreme for that? He might enjoy making one and then testing it out.
cally - i can imagine how excited you must be about finishing work next week. Sounds like you are super busy. It's a good start that K is wanting to wear undies.
md - i hope you get the cleaner. Your dh is a trooper - keeping your beautiful girls happy and secure, AND sleeping on the floor. I imagine he'd do absolutely anything for you though ;)
mp - dh and the girls gave me a new monitor for the computer (it's huuuuge - going to take a little while to get used to it) some pj's, and the girls made me some Country Road vouchers. ( i tried to cash them in at CR this morning, but the guy just laughed)
I also got a new phone - he wrapped it and called it when i got close to it
. I had a beautiful day :)
We've got Dh's work Christmas party tomorrow, and i'm dreading it. We had a catchup with a few families last weekend, and Hannah was a little horror. I was so embarrassed. She was cuddling one of the little bubs (approx 8 months) and always seemed to knock him over, and not let go. She then targeted his big brother - about 6 months older, and scratched him on the chest. she threw a couple of tanties, and everything was 'mine'.
I think my problem is that I worry too much about what other people think. She's just acting her age I guess. Tell me it's normal!!!!
supa - that's funny about T and the 'donald's'. How cute that she thought she was funny.
-
Jaz- Yep totally normal....... Oh and Xavier was going though a toy cataloge the other day and spotted a toy that Hannah has and told DH he also told DH that Hannah has the coolest toys..... Soooo Cute
Ginger- OMG 45min to get to register...... Hope J is ok
Well All good here DH has taken Livi to work with him today so when I rang him before she was having a ball running around. He took the boys last week on different days so they had some time with daddy by themselves at work..... Still havent gotten all my chrissy shopping done just have family members now and one more for Livi.. Fingers crossed I get it all done this weekend....lol
-
leanne - that's so cute! I did most of my shopping on-line this year - it was so much fun!!!! I went to Chermside this morning for an hour, and boy was it packed!!
that's so nice that your dh takes them to work with him.
-
hi all
Noni - I really hope all is OK. Thinking of you.xxx
Jaz - whata gorgeous DH you have - sounds like a fabulous bday... i am after some wedges, may have to go check out those ones now...
Ginger - nice haul my dear.. i didnt make it, had to take J to some appts this morning and then couldnt face theshops after that. was also in apart of town with no CR store...bummer. i doubt i will get there tom either as i have N and J all daya nd then sat we are heading to the coast. i bet the CR shop assistants are sending out a search party for me as i write!
Cally - shame we wont see you... we are also away when you are here so cant even arange a catch up then. wtg on the undies wearing.. though sounds messy!
Leanne - sounds like funa t your DH work. N woud love to see DH work - he thinks we both look at animals on gogle images all day. that or video clips on youtube, that said - he also asked me how my meetinsg went the other day and if they had a decaf latte there! he gets the corporate world already!
well i will be picking N up from Kindy in an hour or so and then he isnt back there til the end of Jan. wish me luck!
i just spoke to a lovely girl in Melb who looks like she will be our nanny for J. i am so excited to have that kind if sorted out. she is recommended to me by the girl who sits for me here (who is from melb and is a fab nanny) yay!
had to take J to the physio this morning re the limb stiffness. she wants the paed to check but i dont think it is anything serious, it is a lot better already. sghe wants me to encourage him on reaching etc - so of course i went out and got hims ome new toys! also went to the osteo and she is v pleased with his progress...
-
Noni, big big hugs from me - I know how scary it is...although the vast majority of these tests actually rule out anything serious. I hope you get some good results soon.
Jazah, bummer those CR vouchers were'nt good - too adorable that your girls made them for you.
Ginger, nice form at the CR shop!
Leanne - get cracking on that shopping it's ONLY A WEEK TO GO!!! lol (feeling superior because for once in my entire life all the shopping is DONE. Oh of course it's not wrapped up yet tho...)
-
md - have been meaning to tell you how much i love your new av. Hubba hubba sexy mumma!!
-
thanks for the support everyone.. the test came back all clear.. everything looking normal.. only leaves a few things on what it could be but im pretty sure the scariest ones are ruled out.. very relieved here phew!
its all very exciting here.. ashas dummys are hanging on the tree to give to santa.. shes gone all yesterday and all today without one, last night was a bit rough but i think itll get easierthe teachers at school said she only asked once and then went to sleep :) i cant wait till xmas ive gone all out this year just amongst our own little family, asha and dh are going to be very spoilt, william hasnt got as much but i think he'll be more interested in the wrapping paper lol..
this year has flown!!
xoxoxox thanks again for the support, means alot!
-
noni - so very glad to hear the results were good!!!!. Hopefully they will find out soon what's making him unwell. What a cute idea hanging the dummy on the tree.
-
Noni- great news  you must be very relieved. ikwym about W liking the paper LOL
Jaz- your shoes sound great. had to laugh at you trying to cash the vouchers and getting laughed at
mp- great news about your melb nanny. are you looking forward to the move? have you been to the new doncaster shoppingtown yet? you will love it there, i just know ;)
girls i'm not sure if i told you but one of my best friend's is due to have her second baby on sunday...so excited to meet her! she's hanging to have her out LOL it's so hard when you're down to the last few days. it's v exciting.
-
girls i forgot to tell you about the cool presents we bought for the boys for xmas- we got them one of those little tikes cozy coupe cars each- the 30th anniversary ones. they are so cute! and we got lewis a blue tea cup set and a hammer and pegs board and jimmy a hairbrush with dinosaurs on it LOL
-
g - those cars are fantastic. Hannah got a hand me down one, and the big girls even like riding in it, so you should get your money's worth there ;)
-
i know! everytime we go to the play centre lewis rides around in one for ages so i think they're gonna love cruising around the deck in them!
-
Ginger, cosy coupe sounds like soooo much fun! Missy E has been playing with her wheely bug rather a lot lately - unfortunately she likes to stand on it, circus bareback rider style so it ends in tears LOL. The teacup set will be very well played with I'm sure!!!
Thanks Jazah. Of course if you'd met me IRL like Trill has you would know it looks *exactly* like me .
MP well done getting the nanny sorted, hope everything else goes smoothly as you prepare for your move. Such a lot to get done!
Yay Noni what a relief!!! Hope the drs can get whatever it is sorted for DH soon, not nice to have problems with your parts.
Well it's starting to feel a lot like Christmas isn't it? Hoping DH will get the lights out tomorrow when the weather fines up (it's drizzly here today).
-
It is feeling lots like xmas. i'm finding it so much more exciting now that we have the littlies (:
it's drizzly here too.
md- lewis doesn't really like his wheelybug, i have to say it really has been a flop around here. hopefully j likes it when he's big enough. miss E sounds like quite a dare-devil!
i'm not sure if you've already said it but what have you got planned for xmas day?
-
md - if i wore shorts like the ones in my av, astronomers would mistake my legs for the moon's surface!!! It's nice to look like the way we feel inside ;)
i love Christmas!!! We went for a drive around the streets looking at the christmas lights - some people go to so much effort to make others happy. it's lovely.
-
I think we'll go for the looking-at-lights drive on the weekend, I'll feel more like sitting in the car by then I hope. I need more mince pies in my life after last year when the gallstones stopped me LOL.
Yep Missy E is a bit of a daredevil, her balance and strength & physical confidence are so much higher than H's at the same age.
Christmas starts on Christmas Eve here - dinner with my parents & stepmums family (DD's cousins will be there). Usually a late night. So we have a bit of a sleep in on Christmas Day, get up, ham on toast for breakfast & pressies - lots of pressies. Then my sis is cooking us all Christmas lunch, seafoody this year. She keeps talking about a hawaian theme. WT...??! I didn't know Christmas needed a theme... Christmas IS the theme . Anyway my job on the day will be sit on my butt and say "Pass me the champers thanks". Gotta love that :)
-
That sounds like a great xmas....i hope there's lots of dessert involved LOL
We're just heading to my dad's house for pressie opening, roast and champers! LOL
I've just sent dh up the road to get our usual friday night dinner one day early :) -pizza!!!
