And you are not a bad mother - I hate cleaning K's teeth and DH doesn't do it. We have only just started doing it twice a day, although that is not me brushing it, it is K sucking the toothpaste off the toothbrush. I probably give her teeth a good clean less than twice a week. And we don't even have fluoride here yet! I hate having to hold her down for it, she always ends up in tears and goes running off to DH afterwards (probably why he doesn't like doing it). The only thing that works sometimes is going through all the foods she has eaten that day and pretending they are in various parts of her mouth (ooh, I see a craisin back there, ah, there's some yogurt on the other side, we better get that).
