Arte, you do realise, don't you, that most of our little thread family have no real concept of that level of cold. LOL. So glad you got the uni admin sorted, it can be a painful process. What course are you doing? I've yet to decide if I'm going to try to plunge back in this semester or not. Made a touch more complicated because the course I am enrolled in has just changed, it's now in a different school even .

I am just doing a grad dip in Psychology - not really my cup of tea but for all the advertising for correspondence degrees, it is the only one that can actually be completed at home without having to go to contact courses. So, like thousands of crazy chicks before me, I shall do this course with the possibility of finding out what is wrong with me lol. I am having a bit of trouble with the cross over from a core science to a social science though - in chem a lab report was aim, method, results, conclusion - 2 pages if you had a big graph.

in all honesty G...a mohawk is AWESOME!!!! (yes, i now can admit that i once upon a time dated a boy who had *quite* the mohawk when i was about 16 lol).
wooo hooooo!!!! that's what i reckon! and he's totally got the face to pull it off perfectly with those big round eyes and chubby cheeks LOL
i'm going to grow L's hair long and surfy and mohawk J's hair for spring/summer- just gotta get a bit more length on top first.
on a side note, i can't believe how pg you are Cass!!! i'm so excited for your BA!!!!!
I have to be honest, I cringe when I see little boys with mohawks, but then the short back and sides my boys have probably isn't everyones cup of tea either If you think he'll look awesome with one, then do it!
oh trust me G i suddenly feel very pregnant. poor DH had to witness tired, BH ridden pregnant, hormonal wife losing it halfway on the walk home in the rain today poor man te he he. i had TOTALLY forgotten how cumbersome even walking gets for extended periods of time (we were out and about with Leila for about 4 hours...without the pram = big mistake LOL!).

Well we are back into the routine here - back at school etc. DD and DH had a wonderful week together. Went swimming, walks at the botanic gardens, visits to the library and then even headed into school one day and pulled out all the gym equipment and she had an absolute ball on the little balance beam and jumping onto the really big mats.
Cass - 7 weeks to go - or are you going with 5?? Was L two weeks early?
Arte, hehe welcome to world of social "sciences"...my degree sits in the School of Sciences which is HILARIOUS. AT least yours involves rats in mazes for an authentic sciency touch LOL. Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll get up to speed with it quickly enough, bright sparkly spark that you are .

Ginger, can't say I've seen any kiddies around with mohawks - but the mullet is still in fashion apparently in some of hte "classier" suburbs in Adelaide - you'll have to post some photies of course.
Cass I too have been loving your preggy tum photos...not surprised you lost it the other day. 4 hours is a lot of walking when you're towing along such a glorious belly. Do you feel 'organised' yet?
Well we finally pulled the side off Missy E's cot on the weekend (I can't believe we left it that long!!!) and so far so good, although she was singing and playing in there last night until quite late. Everytime one of us went up there to look in, she would be lying face down on the bed, blankets off like she'd just dived in when she heard us coming LOL.
MD: ha ha! leila does the same thing with the mad bed dive. then she giggles hysterically at herself and her cunning plan of deception...subtle as a sledgehammer my child lol!
Cally: wow you have good memory! leila was born at 38w1d! but my midwife has warned me that she was born at full term and therefore it is no indicator that this pregnancy will also go early...she reckons that for many mummas it can feel like an incredibly loooooongggg pregnancy when you hit 40 weeks after having an early bird...oh that will sooo be me lol!
AFM: had shocker mrs crocker last night. looks as though leila is getting crook (again!). i dont think she fully shifted her cold from a few weeks ago as her eyes were still watery. oh joy! that it passes quicker this time though. have ripped out the brauers recovery quicksmart this time lol.
bought leila a balance bike for her birthday as well! it's pretty cool. managed to convince DH that the uber s****y german one was a bit OTT with the price and we ended up with a similar (albeit slightly less s****y but cute nonetheless) wooden balance bike for less than half the german price, woot!!
now i am researching trampolines.
oh and if ANYONE has a spare say, $50,000 i found the most uber cubby houses for sale.... posh tots is the place to look online (the name says it all really). i was *thinking* that the victorian manor was the one we'll get seriously you HAVE to check them out. it's insane in the membrane.

Took him to the dentist today for a filling! I noticed it when we were away for football, so 10 days ago. He sat there good as gold and had it drilled and filled - he had his arms behind his head while he was laying back on the chair and you'd think he was on a sun lounge ROFL. But I had prepped him all week about what he had to do and how it wouldn't hurt and that I would buy him a new tractor if he was good

I took today off to spend with Noah - having such a lovely day - I realised we havent had a whole day alone together since 2 days before J was born. We went to see the gruffalo this morning which was good, and then aplay in the park and picnic lunch... he is asleep now and then we will do some craft and cooking before we pick up J. Gorgeous day!
Sherie - wow on the filling and him being so brave... had everyone taken them to the dentist?> we havent yet...

what a champion little A is! Leila is obsessed with her 'maisy goes to the dentist' book and demanded when my tooth broke to be part of the action lol! i reckon this age they just love the gore lol! which reminds me, i should really get her in for a check...my bad!

afm: munching on a bag of macadamias oh so good! Leila is well and truly sick again very blocked up and a pinch of naughty on the side. her perfect combo. she took off down our street today with an evil laugh...i was not amused. just had a quote for some blinds and curtains from kresta today. the quality is soo not nice and they really have very little choice but still want almost $3500 for 4 windows. unimpressed! now we are thinking of going to the drapery place up the road. will cost more but man at least they have nice choice. thinking that if we cant afford both the blockout blinds and sheers we will get the blinds now and sheers later...(sorry for the ramble am thinking out loud here lol!) i also like the idea that the guy makes them himself iykwim. he seemed really lovely (whereas the kresta chick was on the mobile the whole time ).
