MP, hope you are feeling refreshed and your DH is better soon xx

I am really hoping for late bloomers lol I don't think so though - DH was one of those boys that are 6 foot tall at 13, whiskers and all. I was pretty average, around 12 (although I was 18 before I got tits lol).

Trill, that is funny about the bastard baby - no one would bat an eyelid these days if parents are unmarried. Although I have noticed the old ladies often glance at my ring-less finger when I am out with the children so it must still cross some minds.

Clare, that is cute about L and her little boyfriend (cute when it is someone elses kid anyway lol)

MD, I can't believe you have never heard 'bro's before hoe's!!

Well there ya go. Bros before ho's. Ya learn something new every day. Not that the concept carries much weight in this household on account of me being the centre of his universe. Just the way it should be.

DD is already blooming later than her nearest-aged friend, but there again she is lot leaner and hasn't reached the magic weight yet (47 kg or something). I didn't get my period until um, woulda been grade 10 I think. But i was pretty skinny too. haha thems were the days.

Arte, I don't wear a ring either (mostly due to not having them resized) and I still have my "maiden" name...so I often see all sorts of judgements flickering across people's faces, I love that they have no idea that I've been married for nearly 20 years. Serves em right for jumping to conclusions LOL. BUT at least I don't take after my mother who still goes by her 2nd husband's name despite the fact that she divorced him THIRTY years ago and that according to her religion the marriage wasn't even recognised in her church . My relationship with DH is worth more than all the false respectability in the world.

Phillip Island sounds fantastic MP. So sorry your DH is having probs with his back - full commisserations on the roid rages. Just try to be calm and remember it's not him, it's the hormones (prolly the only time you'll ever get to say that about him LOL).

ginger, I think L has been watching too much Sean the Sheep and felt he needed to liberate some of his woolly friends LOL.

cally- best of luck with colonoscopy.

mp- tell me about the scones place please!

cat hunt a total success. sorry md but i got a little boy. he is only 8 weeks old and a total spunk. lewis fell completely in love with him and the same back. he is getting desexed tomorrow and then we should be able to pick him up on saturday. his pg mum was left by tenants (how bloody cruel) and she was taken in by a lovely family. she had her babies and they have been raised in a household with kids, dogs and other cats. the family decided to keep the mum cos they loved her so much and one of the kittens and brought the rest into the shelter. he is a short hair tabby so exactly what dh wanted. now we have to think of a name!

Aw sounds sweet. Leo hmm not a fan... I think u should preserve the nearly-a-chocolate-bar naming tradition and call him Mars. Or Aero.

    Cally, good luck today.

    What is Rush about?

Ginger, I was thinking you should stick with the chocolate bar theme - mars is cool. Snickers?

Had my exam this morning. I think it went pretty well. It was over at the army camp, so there were (kiwi style) GI Joe's walking past for my entertainment.

Amelia seems to be sick. She had a nap at 9am this morning and then another at 1pm and she is still asleep two hours later. I don't think she has ever slept for two hours for a day nap since she was a tiny newborn.

No I don't think there will be any giveaways, too big of an audience, not enough tax breaks back home in the US LOL. Basically each person who registers can nominate a guest. But only the person who registers can collect the tickets in person in Sydney. So you can't ask people who have no intention of going to register and nominate you as their guest just to get more spots in the ballot, kwim? I think I read 3000 Ginger, not sure if that's 3000 in each show (x2 shows) or 3000 all up or 3000 is just an imaginary number in my head. The latter being reasonably possible.

ETA - how's Leo the Love Lion settling in?

Yeah i don't think there will be whole audience giveaways but I reckon she'll be helping out some people in need. I love that kind of stuff!

Oh yeah, totally addicted to the whole Angel Network concept. You can nominate an Aussie hero for one of the Australian shows or someone for a "harpo hookup". How cool is that?

LOL MD, I like Oprah, but I just don't think my sanity could handle all the screaming I"m glad you got it tee'd up with your friend though.

Cally, excellent news on getting the all clear. LOL at K being upset at no pictures

G, I hope the MG stuff sorts itself out. Women like that tend to gravitate towards other women like that so hopefully you wont have to worry about it anymore. I had to laugh at you being asked to be president. When the older 3 went through I held committee roles and gave up in P's last year so I could just enjoy her last year and I got asked the other day if I was going to go back to it and I said no way! There is a real nasty piece of work running the show now and I think I would kill her if I was on a committee with her LOL and I'll be far too busy anyway.

Well I enrolled A in preschool the other day and at this stage it looks like it will be a Friday. Would have preferred Monday, but with places being tight I had to take what I could get. Apparently they are running a 3rd class for the older 3yo's - ie the ones that will turn 4 early next year - and that has eased the pressure on getting a place. During footy season it will be full on though - training thursday, preschool Friday and then football Saturday. but it'll be fine, it's not like I have kids younger than A otherwise I'd go mental LOL. But at this time of year it will be perfect because Little A's is on Friday arvo's.
