Hmmm, I'm gonna go and put a submission in to the Find a Long Lost loved one section on the O website --- did you see last night she reunited some girly penpals (how wickedly cool). We're practically all long lost penpals, aren't we???

Cally, oh yes I've seen the advent calendars and wanted them too. What an excellent thing for advent calendar. Did you help your mum make it or just install the ingenious non-chocolatey contents?

Ginger - He would want to go to the real one in Denmark. But I think it is definitely on the list of place to go!

MD - no, Mum did it all, I just purchased the goodies. Apart from teh Lego, we have hair ribbons, clips, bouncy balls, stretchy animals and stickers.

No i didn't turn up naked and scare everyone. I think G is too mortified to put it into words, so i shall share on her behalf.

We all arrived at around the same time, the kids were happy as larry running around and playing on the train. The three L's were having a great time. Baby Marta was as quiet as a mouse, didn't even make a peep. Her long locks are very cute. J man was trying to escape but G didn't let him get far. We had a cuppa and a few pikelets and Ginger's little L had some hash browns. About 30 minutes later he started looking a little pale and asked G if he could have a nap in the pram. So he sat in there with his bottle of water and next thing he power vomited everywhere. Super mum, miss cool calm and collected managed to catch a bit, do a swift change and clean everything up before i managed to stopped dry retching in the garden. Poor little L was 100% fine one minute and then went rapidly down hill. He was so good, he didn't even cry or whine about throwing up all over himself. Little champ.
I did feel sorry for poor G though, lucky you had a change of clothes!

G: poor L! i hope that it was just the once off and that he has bounced back! i can't believe how quick it all happened and OMG, you were totally calm and so organised...i would of been dumbfounded and fumbling lol (oh and realising that i had no spare change of clothes!).

how cute are all our kids though??!! little J is just the cutest cheekiest little man...love it! while his big bro was being cleaned up little J is up in the chair eating biscuits and chatting to his bubbacino lol.

oh and Leila keeps calling Luella...Cinderella i have no idea why lol.

he's all fine. they both had a nap in the car on the way home, then L ate 8 pieces of bread when we got home and was running around again like new an hour later!

The meet-up sounds good up until the vomit part.

So I think the Vasectomy just isn't going to happen (I can't even get DH to go for a blood test to recheck his heart-attack-by-35 high cholesterol), so what is everyone else that is done with babies doing for long term birth control? Are IUD's any good?

um...we find co-sleeping with kids is a great form of contraception

yeah 8 pieces of bread is a lot but i think he must've been extra hungry from the huge power spew

You never know JM, he is catholic so having lots of kids around wouldn't worry him ROFL. I reckon even if you didn't really like U2, you could still go because they put on such an amazing live show.

Arte, the mirena didn't work for me, but it's one of those things where you wont know if it works till you have it in. It's certainly worth a shot anyway till you can agree on something more permanent.

had to laugh at the power spew finale of the meet up - i guess only funny if you werent there, and glad Mr L is OK.... that cafelooks awesome, i will have to make a trip there. i was so jealous of you all meeting up - next time pls lets make it a weekend so i can come...
at the moment DH doesnt think he wants any more kids.. i am really upset about it... we always thought we would have more but he has found the transition to 2 really hard and feels he isnt cut out of the babyhood bit so seriously isnt sure he can do it. i always thought we would have at least 3... so it is a bit upsetting. i am hoping in time it will feel right to go again... so def no vasecs here!!!
MD - i will have to check out your blog again for updates... i hope it is just a matter of time til you get THE call!
we are facing our first difficulty with N not celebrating xmas - he is really upset we dont have xmas and santa claus now bc they do heaps of stuff at creche... hmmm not easy to talk to a 3yo about it!

mp- i can totally relate to what you're going through with your dh. he has made it clear that he can not go through another pg/nb stage, whereas i am 50/50 on it. i was v upset at first but i have become a lot more accepting of it now and we really do have our hands full with our 2 boys - as jm and cass can probably confirm from yesterday! LOL do you definitely want to have another or how do you feel about it all?

bono doesn't really float my boat....i would rather eddie vedder (but the 1990s version of him), not today.
