Oz: we must most certainly come along! not bringing a camera by any chance are ya lol?!
i have got almost all of it done. DH is missing. his wishes are too expensive though. he wants a bose sound dock for the ipod...an ipod that we dont have lol! so would have to buy the 2 and i just can't justify it ATM considering all the reno's we are doing.

MD: i *think* we are so far on top of the flea brigade. or it could be that the rain has just had 'em hiding until the first non rainy day...

gosh, i am so not ready for christmas thinking yet...i too am on the oprah train. man, seeing her on the news just makes me all emotional simply because for some people at this exact moment in time they are having the time of their lives on the Oprah ultimate adventure! it's mind boggling. i cannot fathom that kind of awesomeness.

G: hmm not sure of the name of the kitchen? we got the designer to come out and we dont have a really big space so we had to really use her skills to get what we wanted lol. but it is a white number with no handles (trying to keep it all streamlined). we are going to get stainless steel benchtops. i wanted copper but we cant find anyone that does them . cant wait for my real pantry!

AFM: xmas parties galore here today. first was DHs and the second was mine. the girls loved it and Leila partied like it was 1999. she showed us her best dance moves ever (cancan et al). although i was a bit norti and had a ****tail...sooo lightheaded. have had to pump and dump for marta's feed lol! oh the shame lol! but it was a great night, so can't complain

I'm loving the 3 year old dance moves at our house, Cass. WTG with your ****tail action. I think that's what's missing in my life...****tails and a bunch of friends in my loungeroom to drink them with!

Cass, we've just been watching my Oprah boxed set, she has a section on shows where she's done people's wildest dreams (including the big car giveaway)...I had the whole family watching, we were all grinning, and clapping and getting right into it. I tell ya, no one else makes that kind of telly!! I cannot even imagine being on the big trip with her..they are seeing this country in STYLE!!!

Hmm seems like it's a pretty quiet weekend, guess everyone on the planet (except me) is caught up with the Christmas frenzy. Can't believe how chilled out i am!

Trill, how are things going down your way, are the flood waters dissipating yet?

I'm here too, just nothing much happening. After a month of constant sunny days it rained sideways today for the Christmas parade. DH's work has a kid's Christmas party tomorrow that we are going to.

well i guess you could say i had a bit of a social life lately! got home from the BB meet last night after 11pm!! Marta was out like a light in the carrier lol! thankfully she missed all the drunk girls cooing over her in the street on the way home lol.

Arte: sunshine. what is that? i hear it is a yellow ball of warmy goodness....

MD: you do have the christmas tree up i hope!!! i want an Oprah box set! must put it on the list; but i doubt DH will indulge me lol.

OK, so i reckon for our Ultimate Sept 07 meet-up we NEED to include ****tails....

Cass, you could always do what I do, and pop a parcel under the tree that says Dear Cass, happy christmas, love from Cass. Yes Chrissy tree is up (last weeked, I stepped away from the lappy and made eye contact with my family for a few hours), although our planned blue-green-silver colour scheme didn't work at all after the purple and all the pink from last year crept in . Missy E had a ball helping us to decorate, there was a very neat Virgoan line of decorations right across the bottom of the tree LOL.

Yep, flood waters are abating and all the people evacuated were allowed back home on Friday. I had to make a mercy dash to Wagga on Thursday because Mum was taken to hospital over there (diabetes+smoking+poor circulation+infected toe = gangrene ) so that was a bit of a worry having to drive there knowing the situation, but the route I took didn't have any water at all. But the river is phenomenal ATM with the amount of water in it. So yeah, I had a pretty hectic 2 days because I had to stay the night JIC they decided to take her to surgery there and then and needed someone to consent etc because Mum wasn't quite able to make any big decisions herself. But in the finish they didn't do anything to it on Friday and will be more likely tomorrow now. Fingers crossed they don't have to take it off.

Last 3 days of school for the year this week! They are going to be full on too. L has his class party tomorrow which is a trip to the movies and school reports come home. Tuesday is the yearly presentation day and Wednesday the girls have their class parties and P has a birthday party to go to after school. Then Friday is Little A's presentation day, Sunday is Little A's zone carnival day and Tuesday is a trip to Griffith to take L to the chiro. Thankfully we have nothing planned from Christmas to the middle of January when swimming lessons start LOL because I'm knackered. But with the way the weather has been it is likely we could still be harvesting anyway.

Trill, your poor mum She's been through so much lately. They may be able to excise some tissue and still keep the rest of the toe? Gosh is she going to think about giving up the fags now? You sound like you need a big rest!

MD, I think we will have to prise the fags from her cold dead hands LOL. She's been smoking since she was a teen, so I really don't fancy her chances of ever being able to give up kwim? Despite the fact that she knows they are not good for her and it drives me mental. I think that is what they were intending on doing to it, but it depended on the circulation to the rest of her foot and if that was compromised it would change the treatment plan. However I did joke that now the patches were on the PBS that they would be cheaper than the smokes LOL.

Note to interstaters airfares would be much cheaper if you booked this far in advance.... Could this be our big chance to meet each other???
Trill - sounds like a crazy time of yr for you
Cass - wtg on the ****tails.
Hi to everyone else just wanted to pop in and say hi. Ginger how are you fee king re Leo now? How have the boys taken it? I am sure you did the right thing
All is crazy here and I just need a break - aside from the usual craziness that is my life and dh being sick etc J is sick too... Has had temps over 39 the last 4 days nit sleeping v upset and in pain. Dr thought virus but gave us script in case he didn't improve which we filled today... Ended yo taking him to hospital today as he was inconsolable but he then perked up... Poor little guy is also getting 6 teeth so I think that explains a lot of how upset he is.... Just hoping it passes soon... On the plus side he is speaking heaps.... No walking yet...hmm another Noah!!!!

i'm here my beautiful! i am frightened that i may be getting unwell. slightly achey (breaky heart bahahaha had to do that) and have a scratchy throat...and marta was a bit out of sorts today as well...arghh!

it has been quiet all around the boards lately. i have been reading and totally not posting: my bad.

Sherie: wow, i am really sorry to hear that about your Mum. what a situation. we had kinda sorta similar problems with Oma. She was a smoker, gave them up because she got the crap scared outta her by the GP (as she should have lol) but then transferred that addiction to pharmacueticals. she knew the damage it was doing, but addiction is what it is. so incredibly frustrating though for us that have to sit at the sidelines and watch
hope that you get to see her soon

MP: girl, i am going to say it again...you guys all need a nice big phat holiday. an easy holiday...no big organising. nice beach house where you can eat fish and chips everynight and have a piccolo of champers (ala MD ) of an evening. ahhh yes, and i *may* just join you...ahhh the bliss!

Cass, quick, straight onto the zinc my sweet, gargle with salt water and swallow some manuka honey.

MP, I agree with Cass, a holiday, fresh air, sunshine, rest!

A beach house sounds like an excellent idea Cass.

PS don't be picking on my piccolo...I'm saving the big bottle for when I need to drown my sorrows.
