Mine was long. Very long. But I let the kids stay up late until DH got home so I didn't have to get them to bed by myself.

William left the top off his slug house and several adventurous souls made a run for it. Turns out that slugs can travel about half a metre on carpet before they dry out. Now there is a radius of desiccated slugs on the carpet, with the exception of one determined fellow who made it all the way to the other side of the room but then was trapped at the skirting boards and met with the same fate as his dried out colleagues.

Also, did you know that slugs have a penis that comes out of their head??? Completely unexpected! I didn't tell W what they were up to lol

Arte...i guess that maybe that's where the whole D-head saying comes from

i always call if he is late.

G: our sunday was AWESOME! (word of the day lol). we had our midwives spring picnic so i got to catch up with our midwives and meet all the other families and it was so so so much fun and awesome to meet them all. had a ball!!
then i visited our neighbour in the late afternoon and DH turned up on the doorstep with spag bog ready to go so we all had an impromptu dinner together...love it!

that is so cute about KK and L...get a photo! soon she might even be 'mummying' him....our cats sometimes groom eachother and it is so cute.

Warning whinge ahead: I am over being sick. I spewed in the gutter between myer and melb central today. Not pretty. I think 4 kids is off the cards, it's just too hard. I can't do this again, maybe I'm soft, but I'm over it!

Phew feels better, thanks for listening.

On the upside both girls crashed before 7, so hauled up on the couch.

jm- you poor thing. i think 3 gorgeous little blondies (or rangas) sounds lovely
i told you the other day we were originally going to have 3 but have changed our minds to 2 now. i this parenting gig think is a lot harder than anticipated!

md- what is with the straight line of fencing thing? absolutely does my head in! what is the point? j just walks all the way along it until it stops then goes around. what a waste of time.

:hugs: JM, sorry to hear you're doing it tough with the MS. Have you tried the Ginger+B6 cure? The WCH here did a study and found that it helps right across all MS severities.

Ginger, I didn't realise you were originally pitching for 3? Never say never though, my GF who's eldest is the same age as my DD1 is now pg with her 4th...bigger gaps for 3 and 4 than 1 and 2. I guess though, you need to feel like you have 'capacity'. I know for certain I don't have 'capacity' for more than one littley at once. But I did need to get past Missy E's babyhood/weaning in order for that prolactin-cluckiness to die down

Trill, I only saw the last 10 mins or so but it was hilarious...I was humming the tune for the rest of the night haha...just waiting for DH to be finished with Amazing RAce then I"m going to put it on.

MD, it was a really touching thing to say LOL at having the song in your head. I had Neil's dance moves in my head. And YAY for the long weekend too!

JM, don't rule out ever having 4. Maybe give yourself a bigger gap between this bub and the next. I know I couldn't have had the 4 of them all so close either. And you've had a hell of a lot on your plate health-wise with this bub too so it's no wonder you are feeling so craptastic

G, the girls were like that - I had to watch them like a hawk if we were anywhere near water and it always made my day out very stressful while everyone else just seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thankfully A isn't as bad, otherwise it would make water skiing this summer a nightmare.

Hiya everyone! How is everyone (besides excited about the get together that most of us aren't coming to ).

Friday!!! yayayayayay! I have spent half the morning outside with a can of spray taking care of the spiders that shouldn't even have been there if DH had done the job right last year when I asked him to.... It's redback central out there. I'm going to be cracking my whip this weekend, I'm sick of the yard looking 'povvo' just because DH never tidies up after his gardening efforts. Like he'll mow the lawn, but then he leaves clumps of chopped grass all over the paths. Poor man isn't going to know what's hit him .

Is anyone else getting in the summery-christmas-is-coming kind of mood? We've got carols by candlelight tonight at DD1's school, should be nice, fulfil the carol itch before the Christmas rush begins LOL. I haven't even thought about christmas shopping yet. I can remember the frenzy I was in this time last year, to get everything sorted before I had my op. Can't believe that's nearly a year ago already!!!

Ginger, we just have one of those clam things. One half is the sand pit and the other half gets dragged off for the wadey pool. Although we'll be allowed to use SPRINKLERS again in 4 more sleeps!

Cass- I'm dying here!! Do you mind if we change venue to the coach and horse in ringwood at 11. 3 hours in the car is not feeling achievable. But ringwood seems do-able. Sorry for being soft.....

    hi girls

the coach and horses doesn't open until 12pm....so i was wondering if you guys would prefer to go to a kid friendly cafe in wonga park that actually opens at 10am or i also know of another great one in warrandyte that has a train for the kids to play on and opens earlier. that way we can spend a good 2 hours there before the littlies get tired and we need to go iykwim?

lemme know what you guys want to do......

the warrandyte one has a great outdoors area but it means that we are not undercover...but, i think it looks like the bad weather isn't going to hit until the afternnon anyway so if we went early we would be fine there's also a liitle pond with ducks in it for the kids to feed.

i'm just going to check the weather site...
    what are you thinking jm?
