    Hi all

Just a quick note for me as Liam is stiring.
Cant believe he is still asleep. Went down at 9.30pm and is still sleeping.

hey Kell. Glad you had a nice time with your friend. Yes I did get your number and ill be there with bells on...so to speak. Im not wearing them as I know im in the xmas spirit but not that much...lol. OMG LOL @ your night. That sounds like some thing out of a comedy movie. "mum and screeming babies" oh im sorry I shouldnt LOL but wow that was a big night... Im glad little Keira is ok and oh yukky about the ****roach...

sweetpea welcome back hun. glad your back safe. I cant imagin how hard it must have been with the pram. Oh bummer on the parent room too.
Pix yay on beths weight. That a good gain. Yes Liam is starting farex alittle early then I would normally but he isnt drinking more bottles and is waking lots during the night. Last night was the first night sleep through since before we went ot mums. He seems to be loving it and I would have started him in a week anyways. Cant believe Liam is almost 5 months.. well 1 and a bit...lol

Oh Tan isnt it scarey with pools. We have one and im so scared all the time. I some time think is it worth all the hassel but as dh says its only untill they can swim but thats a good 3 years...Callum isnt aloud out the back by himself at all unless we are in the back room. We can see him from there. Takes me forever to get in the pool too...lolv

Ayapi great stats hun. Oh Im going to have to look at the tree. I love christmas...cant you tell...lol

well better go callum wants more toast and liam is talking.

    have a nice day all

hi to the rest of you yummy mummies..

Mel: GL with M today, hope she handles her needles!

    HAPPY 4mths MEHKELTI!!

Mez: Izzy's stats are looking great!! Thats great she has reached her milestones! Ashlea is holding, thats about it haha. Although, I did forget to mention Sunday night Ashlea rolled from tummy to back in the bath twice, she hasn't done it out of the bath yet.

Kell: Bug for you! You poor thing, what a horrible night! Hope you can catch up on sleep or at least rest today! We have been getting those big ****roaches too and their babies!!!

MIssy: Yay for Liam sleeping in! I don't let Jayden in our backyard by himself because of the dogs, don't think they would do anything to him but you never know, I was bitten across my face by a normally placid labrador (sp?) when I was about 3 or 4.

Another hot day today, 1 load of washing done (still gotta hang it out though). I better get J out to play before it gets too hot.

    HAPPY FOUR MONTHS MEHKELTI!!!!
Kel - you poor thing, sounds like a horrible night and even worse them being sick when you have a phobia of it.... has the different pill helped at all? hope you're feeling better today
    Mez - great stats!
    Tan - mwah!
The Bear picked up a Bumbo for DD yesterday and she seems to like it! She has been a bit awkward the last few days - I think it must be a wonder week!
Our foxtel is down, damn it! Have to wait until 12 to see if there is a local fault or get a tech out to repair it!
Big to all, should run and do something useful while madam is asleep!

Morning all - hopefully I get a good post out whilst DD is sleeping and DS is watching Dora and eating some fruit.

Tenny - I'm glad you got the Fess stuff - did it work for you? DD's cold is much better now - still got a terrible cough though.. how's your bub?

Tan - I *think* we are coming up the weekend after xmas - we will go to Hervey Bay on the Friday, stay there the night, come to Bundy on the Saturday, stay the night there (accommodation recs please!!) and hang out with you guys (and see Wade & D) and then go back to Hervey Bay on the Sunday, stay there the night and THEN back to the coast on the monday... I think thats the plan at the moment anyway Thanks for the 4 month wishes.. is Jayden feeling better after his puky night?

Anastasia - all I have to say that if you don't work on your relationship now - it will be HELL when #2 comes along. Its so much harder to focus on your relationship when you have a toddler and a newborn. Tell your DH to come up here and see what a real father is like. I may have a lot of complaints about DH but he IS a good father, and does help alot around the house. We have a pretty strict routine at night (especially since I am back at work) and usually our fights is about him trying to help me too much and getting in the way!!!!

Pixie - woohoo for clever Beth!!! What a star!!! I can't wait to meet her
Oh and I suppose, you and Bear hehehehehe and great guns with the weight gain!! I'll find out today what Miss M is...thanks for the 4 months wishes too

Missy - I'm glad you had a good time away!!! And what a good little sleeper you have ther - do you think its the farex helping his sleeping? So many divided opinions out there - I'd like to know what you think.

Sweetpea - glad you had a good time - the ergo is my fav accessory at the moment too.

Mez - she is doing so well!!!! You must be very proud of her *mwah*

Kel - what a yuck night - I hate nights like that!!! Hope you get a chance to nap today and that K is feeling better. for the anxiety - I get panic attacks so I can understand... maybe some rescue remedy can help?

Well all is good here. Got DS sitting on my lap so better gooooooo!!!!

    will update later with stats

    *mwah* love yas all!!

    HAPPY 4 MONTHS, MEHKELTI!!!!

just back from Mach nurse, no time to post all the results. Alyssa is smack bang on the 50th percentile with everything except height (she's just a smidge on the tall side!), and the words that the mach nurse used to describe her were: "Scarily advanced for her age", and said it was unusual to find such a precocious AND calm child Apparently that mix is a rarity - although I suspect that we have a few here in this group!

Busy busy. The move is tomorrow. Have done my KK shopping and sent it off this morning, so at least that won't get forgotten in the move! Now gotta rush off to the bank and take in our coin collection. Last time we did this we ended up with close to $500 in coins. I'm tipping this time it's pretty damned close to that again. Funny thing is, this is only 2 months worth of pocket change!! I took the last lot in when Alyssa was 2 months old and used it to open her bank account (hubby agreed all coins collected can go to her). Since we're already over the no-tax limit for a child's bank account for the year, unfortunately she won't be getting this lot. We'll just keep track of all the $$ we've allocated to her and give it to her later when we don't have to pay top tax bracket for it!

Pixie - did he bring you the kueh lapis?

    Must dash! Waves to all

    Good morning everyone

Jonathan went to sleep at 12.30 am. Then he winged at 4.00am this was the second time he has done this, don't know why, I checked up on him & he had his eyes closed he was just making noises. He must've had a bad dream who knows. So I gave him his bottle in bed, I didn't want to get him out of bed just in case he wouldn't go back to sleep. So i gave him his bottle in his bed & fell back to sleep. He then woke up at 7.30am.

Mary- That's great stat's for Izzy, well done

Missy- I hate it when parents talk like that in front of trheir kids/babies. That is just wrong.

Tannis- Yeah I always put xmas tree up 1st of Dec. LOL it looks like I just chucked decorations on the tree lol. I soooo have to get new decorations next yr, was suppose to get it this year, but couldn't be bothered.

Kel- Sorry to hear u had a terrible night my god u poor thing.

    Mel- HAPPY 4 MONTHS MEHKELTI
I know it would be hell having a 2nd one. And u know wat I will be giving him hell. You are so lucky to have a husband that helps & does stuff. You know wat I hate the most. Everytime we go to his cousins or my parents or wherever & I'm with Jonathan & hubby is somewhere talking to guys, he doesn't come up to me check us, u know how some husbands check on their wives and babies to see how there doing? Well hubby is not like that at all, I'm not saying do it all the time but now and then is ok, u know wat i mean?
The other day he said to me the factory his buisness comes first, i'm like **** u.

SW- All the best for 2m sweety. That's great that Alyssa is doing well

You know what? If my husband dared say that to me - I'd be outta there. He wouldn't deserve to have a family if he isn't going to put them ahead of everything else.

    HAPPY 4 MONTHS MEHKELTI!!!!

SW wow your good with your KK. Ill be doing mine on Thursday. I have lots of christmas things to get then and thought I would do it then rather then going out twice this week as I think its going to be hot all week. Good luck with the move!! Liam is also up there too as he is very calm and doing all that he is meant too. The only thing he isnt doing is rolling from back to front. Yes there is lots of bubs here up with us I think.

Yes Tan we have two little dogs and they have both snaped at callum to let him know "hey settle down". They play together but then callum will get abit rough...lol

Pix my fox was just down for about 10 mins but its back on now. I love my fox.

Arimeh not sure if its the farex or not. He is only on some in the morning but I remember my nurse with callum told me that little bit of food can go a long way. So not sure but i know he was ready as he was looking at me eat all the time, trying to grab my food if I was nursing him and when I was at Kristy's the other week, both kell and Kristy saw him open his mouth as I pretend to feed him, he has a strong neck and he is doing all that they say that they are meant to do when they are ready. He isnt getting pain so his tummy is doing ok. You never know it could be the food. For all I know he could have been waking cause he was cold(as he kicks his blankets off) or teething or hungry. Its really hard to tell. We just have to try everything I guess. But after having 3 children you tend to pick up on things easier as you remember them with the other kiddies.

Anastasia of cause its wrong. I wouldnt evern talk to a adult that way. Gutter mouth is what she has. Yay on Jonathan sleeping and having his bottle in bed. Try not to do that to much as I heard some thing about giving bottles to babies/toddlers in bed can cause problems with teeth. Cant see how but I heard that. Just thought Id let you know. Ive given callum bottles in bed and his teeth seem find so far. **touch wood**

Ok off I go. Liam asleep so will start getting dinner out. I like to have all the vegies done before I start cooking.

    Another hot day today!!!

    Morning everyone.

Happy 4 months little miss Mehkelti!

Mel - I hope your DDs checkup and needs if you get them too. The FESS worked great. The first time he screamed the house down. The next time he kinda thought it was funny and snotted it back? idk. I make DP do it. He's still snotty and a tiny cough, but other then that he's going ok with it. I wish it'd go away. He's so restless in his sleep. Ugh.

Mez - Great stats. Go Izzy! We've reached almost all the milestones except all the way rolling over. Still only 3/4 way, then rolls back to his back.

Kell - Poor little babygirl. I hope she's alright now. Sounds like you had an awful night. I hope you can have a rest today.

SW - Good luck for tomorrow. Awesome stats!

Pixie - I wanna get one of those. How's Beth going with it?

Missy - Great to hear your trip was good. Way to go Liam and the farex. I think we'll start Bubbablue next week or so. Last night Bubbablue was doing his usual whine and watching us eat. So I sat him up with us and gave him some apple. He was so good after that. Great sleeping from Liam too!!!!!

Tasia - I'm with the other ladies, if my DP said that to me.. I'd be gone too. Does he even play with Jonathan or hold him? Is he any part of anything to do with Jonathan?

Tan, Belle, Feeb, Zee, Sweetpea and anyone else I might have accidently missed.

Is everyone else having nappy issues? Bubbablue is hardly sleeping during the daytime even when he's clearly so so tired and rubbing his eyes. I don't know how to make him sleep.. then sometimes he gets to sleep then DS1 decides to be really loud or whatever.

Bubbablue has found this new sound. He'll do his usual talking and stuff then he starts this high pitched loud talking sounds. He must think he's great cause he's doing it all the time.

He he goes again with the noise...
I better go. He's stinking up the room too.

Hey tenny yes he sounds like he is ready too. I only give Liam 1 tsp with 1 tsp of apple(the one that say from 4 months) and I make it pretty runny. Not so runny. It ends up being about 6 tsps so its good. Its just enought I think to help him sleep. But who really knows. But if they are looking and wanting to reach for you food then he is ready. I think some kids are ready and others arnt. But the symptoms are pretty easy to see when they are ready. Good luck with it hun. Im sure all will be great.

Hey folks - just a quickie, flat out again today! Just got a quiet moment while DD is sleeping in her chair and I'm having some lunch.
SW - Woot on what the MACH said. Did you take her for her needles or do you have a checkup at 4 months? It must be different here cause after 8 weeks there aren't any more checkups till 6 months. Yep the Bear bought Kueh Lapis What is the no-tax limit for children's bank accounts? I need to open a bank account for DD as someone gave her a large gift of money, and of course we want to save for her. Should start a thread about it but keep getting distracted! Good luck with the big move!!!
Mel - great stats hun, mwah! would update Beth's but keep forgetting to find a tape measure so I can measure her length & HC. Our local ECC has stopped having drop ins cause they are so snowed under with home visits - bit of a baby boom round here atm.
Tenny - DD is really fighting sleep at the moment too.... you can see she is completely exhausted but she still cries and fights it. I just keep rocking her in her chair or her hammock, and turn up the tunes. Just now it took almost the whole of 'clubbed to death' (nearly 7 minutes) but in the end she conked. think she is having a wonder week, maybe bubbablue is too.
Tasia I hope things get better with your hubby.
Missy - great that Liam is loving the solid food.... looking forward to starting Beth when she is ready.... and I know the Bear can't wait to start making gourmet baby food!
big to all, have a great day
ETA - Oh yeah, Tenny after some initial skepticism Beth is a big fan of the Bumbo! I recommend it she seems to think its great

According to this article, $416 per year. There are ways and means around it, but for her personal savings acct anything more than that and it is heavily taxed. Kinda sucks, really... I understand the need to prevent people from using their kids as a tax haven, but if you legitimately wish to have a savings account for your kid then what does it really matter if they get 4 or 5k a year?!?! Compared to the rest of what we earn it is pretty obviously not a lot... If we wanted a tax haven we'd be putting in a lot more than that!!

It means that if you want to put the baby bonus into an account for your baby, you get taxed at a stupid rate. Likewise if grandparents decide to kickstart their savings with a 1k or so boost, also taxed stupidly. For us, we were given a lot of cash for her at birth, and had decided all the spare coinage would go into her account. We did one lot of coins (and didn't even deposit her cheques that she was sent) and we're already over the threshold.

Thx for the well wishes on the move!!

Gotta dash - just got back from immunisation and she's not thrilled. She's hungry - wanted to wait until after needles to feed her so that I had a backup plan if she needed calming. Now she just needs feeding

    waves to all!

Gosh um could you guys not talk so much? LOL

I read through but have pretty much forgotten what everyone has said LOL

Tenny- IVF is going great guns atm, we have our group session Monday then I will start on meds etc.. I have to give myself injections eeek.

Missy- Hun did you do something to your house? I know the fence is new but did you change near the door or the windows?? Lucas also is having some farex..seems to be getting abit more settled with it.

    Rach
    - OMG a guy was like that here.. wouldnt leave any leaflet and wouldnt go even though I was telling him that he would have to talk to DH about it and DH is at work so I just shut the door in his face

Lucas got weighed about 2 weeks ago and he was 6.38kgs so I was happy with that.

Still have AF another 11 days and ive had it for 2 months straight, it looks like I have been bashed cause I have bruising everywhere from DD, DH just touching me.

Sorry i know poor effort but I have done stuff all today apart from read a new book I got so I have to clean clean clean cause I wanna watch the xfiles movie with DH tonight (big x-files fan here LOL)

    Missy - Thanks for that.

Mel - Fabulous stats. She's going to be a talk one!! I just measured DS1 at the doctors and he's already at 115cm. I'm a bit cause he'll be gigantic compared to me, just like his daddy, butttt then again tall guys are hottttt! :P

Pixie - That's great about the Bumbo. I'm glad she loves it. I think Bubbablue might love it too. Hopefully I can get one somewhere. We don't do the checkup dealio thing here really either. I really should go get him weighed this week... depends what I feel like on friday.

Zee - Ouch re: injections. I don't know if I could do it. I'm pretty good with the bsl testing but that's only on my fingers, anywhere else and I think I'd be a real sook. I hope it all goes fantastic. Have you gone and seen someone about your bleeding? Are you bruising just from being touched?

I've been so up and down lately. I've been worrying flatout and then thinking it's me that's the bad luck and everything is going to turn bad cause I'm around. Ugh.
Then I'll snap out of it and be ok with things. It's been quite bad the last few days.
I really don't know what's going on with me and my head. Any ideas? Is it normal?

We just got home from the doctors. We took Bubbablue there to get his rash/spots thing checked out. They've been there since Sunday morning but they'd come and go. Sometimes they'll be red and really noticeable, then they'd fade and only just be seen.
I was freaking out about it today. Turns out it's just a viral rash, related to his cold.
I didn't know you could get anything like this. It's all new to me. It's such a huge relief it wasn't anything serious!
