    Morning everyone.

Happy 4 months little miss Mehkelti!

Mel - I hope your DDs checkup and needs if you get them too. The FESS worked great. The first time he screamed the house down. The next time he kinda thought it was funny and snotted it back? idk. I make DP do it. He's still snotty and a tiny cough, but other then that he's going ok with it. I wish it'd go away. He's so restless in his sleep. Ugh.

Mez - Great stats. Go Izzy! We've reached almost all the milestones except all the way rolling over. Still only 3/4 way, then rolls back to his back.

Kell - Poor little babygirl. I hope she's alright now. Sounds like you had an awful night. I hope you can have a rest today.

SW - Good luck for tomorrow. Awesome stats!

Pixie - I wanna get one of those. How's Beth going with it?

Missy - Great to hear your trip was good. Way to go Liam and the farex. I think we'll start Bubbablue next week or so. Last night Bubbablue was doing his usual whine and watching us eat. So I sat him up with us and gave him some apple. He was so good after that. Great sleeping from Liam too!!!!!

Tasia - I'm with the other ladies, if my DP said that to me.. I'd be gone too. Does he even play with Jonathan or hold him? Is he any part of anything to do with Jonathan?

Tan, Belle, Feeb, Zee, Sweetpea and anyone else I might have accidently missed.

Is everyone else having nappy issues? Bubbablue is hardly sleeping during the daytime even when he's clearly so so tired and rubbing his eyes. I don't know how to make him sleep.. then sometimes he gets to sleep then DS1 decides to be really loud or whatever.

Bubbablue has found this new sound. He'll do his usual talking and stuff then he starts this high pitched loud talking sounds. He must think he's great cause he's doing it all the time.

He he goes again with the noise...
I better go. He's stinking up the room too.

Hey tenny yes he sounds like he is ready too. I only give Liam 1 tsp with 1 tsp of apple(the one that say from 4 months) and I make it pretty runny. Not so runny. It ends up being about 6 tsps so its good. Its just enought I think to help him sleep. But who really knows. But if they are looking and wanting to reach for you food then he is ready. I think some kids are ready and others arnt. But the symptoms are pretty easy to see when they are ready. Good luck with it hun. Im sure all will be great.

Hey folks - just a quickie, flat out again today! Just got a quiet moment while DD is sleeping in her chair and I'm having some lunch.
SW - Woot on what the MACH said. Did you take her for her needles or do you have a checkup at 4 months? It must be different here cause after 8 weeks there aren't any more checkups till 6 months. Yep the Bear bought Kueh Lapis What is the no-tax limit for children's bank accounts? I need to open a bank account for DD as someone gave her a large gift of money, and of course we want to save for her. Should start a thread about it but keep getting distracted! Good luck with the big move!!!
Mel - great stats hun, mwah! would update Beth's but keep forgetting to find a tape measure so I can measure her length & HC. Our local ECC has stopped having drop ins cause they are so snowed under with home visits - bit of a baby boom round here atm.
Tenny - DD is really fighting sleep at the moment too.... you can see she is completely exhausted but she still cries and fights it. I just keep rocking her in her chair or her hammock, and turn up the tunes. Just now it took almost the whole of 'clubbed to death' (nearly 7 minutes) but in the end she conked. think she is having a wonder week, maybe bubbablue is too.
Tasia I hope things get better with your hubby.
Missy - great that Liam is loving the solid food.... looking forward to starting Beth when she is ready.... and I know the Bear can't wait to start making gourmet baby food!
big to all, have a great day
ETA - Oh yeah, Tenny after some initial skepticism Beth is a big fan of the Bumbo! I recommend it she seems to think its great

According to this article, $416 per year. There are ways and means around it, but for her personal savings acct anything more than that and it is heavily taxed. Kinda sucks, really... I understand the need to prevent people from using their kids as a tax haven, but if you legitimately wish to have a savings account for your kid then what does it really matter if they get 4 or 5k a year?!?! Compared to the rest of what we earn it is pretty obviously not a lot... If we wanted a tax haven we'd be putting in a lot more than that!!

It means that if you want to put the baby bonus into an account for your baby, you get taxed at a stupid rate. Likewise if grandparents decide to kickstart their savings with a 1k or so boost, also taxed stupidly. For us, we were given a lot of cash for her at birth, and had decided all the spare coinage would go into her account. We did one lot of coins (and didn't even deposit her cheques that she was sent) and we're already over the threshold.

Thx for the well wishes on the move!!

Gotta dash - just got back from immunisation and she's not thrilled. She's hungry - wanted to wait until after needles to feed her so that I had a backup plan if she needed calming. Now she just needs feeding

    waves to all!
