HI Gals just wanted to pop in and meet some new people but i noticed there was no thread for babies born after Jan 15th 2009 my son Zarius was born on the 17th jan 2009 and he is having his first birthday today its exciting but im pretty depressed too. none of the family showed up ( mum and my sister ) as she said she didnt have fuel ( just another excuse so she doesnt have to drive out to my place. gggggrrrrrrr i am so angry with her!! how do i make Zarius's birthday a good one for him???????

Hi Rinnie, welcome to BB! Not sure why there isnt a thread for his birth month??
Happy Birthday to your little man! Im sorry to hear your mum or sis couldnt make it but with having just you there is all he needs to have a happy day. Make him a cake, sing Happy Birthday and let him try out his cake - make sure you have the camera ready though! Why not take him to the park for a play? I think babies first B days are made to be over the top sometimes when all they need is a little party. Too much stimulation makes them cranky.

as hard as it is try not to dwell on that other's werent there. Tazke heaps of pictures on thsoe who were and smile because your little man is one.

Blow up a heap of balloons, put some music one and just dance wit him. He'll love the balloons and you guys will be laughing and having a great time soon.
