    Question *Warning* TMI

Ok, I am on my second AF sice Oscar was born. The first was very heavy and full of clots and very painful. This one is nearly as heavy, a number of clots and today I have had a couple of yellow spongey looking bits. Do you think this maybe some placenta??

My hospital notes said the plaventa was gritty.

Thanks hun. I just don't know if I should make a Drs appt or not?! I know that they say that your first few AFs after having a bub clears out your uterus etc. but as I'm sure you know.... if something happens that you're not sure about you stress!

Oh, I don't know???!!!! But it does sounds strange. I will make an appointment just to be 100% sure!! Or phone your gyne, that safes you the trip going to the dr and SURELY he/she will be able to help you over the phone OR to tell you that it's worth coming in for an appointment??
I have never heard that AF includes "yellow spongy bits".

well ok. i had weird periods. im on my second period since my baby born via c section. my first was gross long (21 days) heavier than anything. my second which im have finished i think but im still spotting. has been 11 days. i saw dr n gynos had ultrasounds done. dont be worried se ur dr just to put ur mind at ease. i lived at the drs at one point. if its placenta (iv had placenta left behind with my second child) it would be red large clots the size of golf balls and bigger ( mine were the size of madarines) and ultra sound confims any. but yellow spongy stuff wouldnt be placenta.
