Hi All,

I hope I have asked this in the right section!!

Its been 2 weeks (and a bit) since my last breastfeed and I just wanted to check and make sure everything is going as it should be in the bbs department..

DD breastfed for 13 months and for the last 3-4 months I cut down on the feeds, so the last month of BFing we were only down to 1 (first thing in the morning) feed. My bbs stayed pretty full for a few days and then it seemed like the were slowly drying up. Over the weekend, I expressed a little in the shower cause it seemed like I had a lump of milk on 1 side. It wasnt sore or anything. I gave my bbs a bit of a squeeze last night, and there still is milk in there! So how long does it take it dry up? They look like they are at their pre-pg size..

Also, they seem to be a little tender when I touch them. Would this be normal as everything is trying to get back to normal or should I be keeping a closer eye on it?

And a few more other things... should I really get myself professionally fitted to make sure I have the right bra for my new shape? And just wanted to know, did you lose any weight once you stopped breastfeeding? Cause I heard that your body tends to hold on some fat while you a BFing, or is this just a myth?!

TIA
