    Hi

Congrats on the birth of you baby! I think as you obviously do that it could be either...the lochia (after birth bleeding) can be a bit stop start but could also be af. I was thinking to that seeing as there are he hormonal changes with starting and stopping breast feeding that the pills that stop milk coming in would probably be like a strong hormonal way of if you slowly weaned, which is maybe why it came back so quick??? Not sure just a theory??

Just want to say I am sure no one will judge you if you feel you want to chat about your feeding journey, and if they are well thats their issue...us bb ladies are here whenever you're ready

I bled and then spotted and the bled, and the spotted... for 6 weeks... AF returned when Jazz was 8 weeks old, and I'm bfing. It is probably just the usual bleeding after birth (all the way through... I'd start thinking "YAY its finishing" and it would start up again ). Or it could be AF. If it worries you you can always go to the GP or talk to your midwife about it?

Kim - I vote you one crazy broad 10 months 27 days! WOW!!!!! The reason why I'm not letting DH TOUCH me ... yet

CQ - Thank I'm at home, so don't have access to the internet 24 hours for free ... my reason for not having posted a birth announcement yet

Tan - Thank you .. I don't really mind if it IS AF ... it's just a crappy way of starting a new year , kwim!!

Jas - Thanks hun. I have that same hormonal theory .... I think I might just phone my ob and ask him. My lochia was very little ... with dd too. I did not bleed for a whole 24 hours after the c/s and then it was heavy for one day and ever since it's been more irretating than anything else. My gut says AF ( moody, headaches, pain in my lower back) Been so long since I had AF that I can't remember. What gets me is that I am a tampon-girl and this pads is like a thorn in my side
