It's not a preg thing I'm pretty sure- it comes about when the spine is still growing I think, ie adolescence or childhood.

Oddly enough when I was having my epidural put in for DD's birth the anesthetist told me I had it too. Probably advanced labour was not the best time to tell someone these sorts of things though.
