bleeding

i had my baby 5 weeks ago. my bleeding stopped about 2 weeks ago. no all of a sudden i have slight light red/ brown blood, kinda like at the end of AF. is this normal? i havent been overally active etc, and it has kind of corresponded with slight abdomanal pain similar to after pains but not as bad/frequent.

Hollo........I can't remember with Olivia, but with Charlie I had the same thing......bleeding stopped at 3 weeks, then a week later, it came back.......but light red/ brown blood instead of dark red.

I was fully BF, so I have no idea if it was AF or not, but it then lasted about a week, getting browner. I mentioned it to my OB and he siad it was "normal"........like a final clean out, IYKWIM?

But if you have any pain/it smells funny, do get yourself checked out.......

yep, i am breast feeding on demand thats why i figured it wasnt AF. i will ask at my 6 week check up next week, thanks girls.

Hollo - it could be AF, with #1 I was feeding on demand, AF arrived at 8 weeks, now with #2 who will be 6 weeks tomorrow, I`m again BFing on demand and I think AF is on her way, which I`m not happy about!!!!
