    Depo Provera
    An intramuscular injection taken every 12 weeks.
    Safe to use during breastfeeding.
    Best to be started six weeks post-delivery to reduce bleeding problems.
    Is effective in seven days.
    Efficacy rate is 99 percent or greater.

    Also other safe methods of contraception are ~ IUD, (mirena or copper), diaphragm or a cervial cap, lastly the most reliable albeit boring choice - abstinence.
