I had the same problem after my last birth and it only resolved fully at around 7mths. There isn't much your GP will be able to do about it though, it's just one of those things. I did have some bowen therapy and chiro when I had my regular appointments and it didn't make any difference at all
Yeah i have it too, it is common for them to go out of alignment during pregnancy and birth, although OB thinks i may have re-fractured mine as i had previosly broken it as a teenager.
Not alot they can do, I did see a chiro and osteo which helped. But to have it a properly adjusted involes a finger up your bum, which i don't fancy!
The only other thing they can do if it is broken and causing on going pain, is surgery to remove it, which i also dont fancy. So i just dont sit down too long!
It has got better over time, but is still painful.
I had to go to Bowen Therapy this week as I had neck problems, and told him about my sore butt, and he said I wasn't in alignment. Very common during pregnancy and birth. I think my problem happened during birth. I birthed on my back as the midwife had to move my cervix out of the way, and DD was born within minutes of doing that, so no time to get up.
Since going to Bowen Therapy, I've had a lot less pain down there. I can actually sit on the lounge without fear!
