Hmm could this be my period returning already? 7 weeks in...
I stopped my loss about 3 weeks ago now, and it had dribbled itself out to nothing so I don't really think it's loss returning...
It's different to loss too, it's very light, but it's the (sorry for description) gluggy brownish stuff that I always got for my period (until I started taking aspirin every day that enabled us to fall preggers, then I got "normal" free-flow red blood), though I do stress, it's minimal amounts, only started last night, still going tonight, but still minimal...
I never really get cramps, only on the odd occaison, so not surprised I'm not getting any now...
But strange, as I only ever got it a few times a year anyways (till I met my hubby that is, and my period started coming every month!) so I didn't expect it to be in any hurry now post birth
And lastly, Elly is exclusively breastfed! On demand, and though we usually have a long sleep most days of about 6-7 hours, the rest of the clock is 2-3 hour feeds, and bouncing from one-boob to the other back and forth each feed. In fact, so much boob it seems I can't get anything done without it! So I didn't think I'd get it back so soon for this reason either!
Oh, and I've been having EWCM too, over the past week, maybe week and a half?, because I'd never seen the stuff before, and had to google it to see if it was normal or something I should call my midwife about LOL
We started DTD again from 4 weeks and 2 days post birth, this wouldn't tempt my period to return so soon would it?
Hmmm, it's got me puzzled, and I'm too impatient to wait and see over the week, had to post to get my mind off the issue haha!! Be interesting to see what you ladies make of this?
My wee one was funny with her feeding and I had AF return 8 weeks post baby. If you're really worried and don't think your supply has decreased in the slightest it's best to see your gp/ob just in case. One of the women i was in hospital with had a small bit of retained placenta. Hope I don't scare you it'sjust a precaution.
i'm still to have my check up by the docs (eek) but we did keep the placenta and it was complete, it was membranes that were hard to tell if we had it all, so maybe there's still a tiny bit left of those, good thinking, thankyou!
