How long did it take for your stretchmarks to fade?

I've got them on my breast which have only appeared in the last fortnight I'm breastfeeding and I'm upset with myself for not trying to prevent them as I haven't been wearing a supportive bra 100% of the time. They just look awful. They cover most of my lower part of the breast underneath the nipple. How long did your stretchmarks take to fade?

    Thanks

Some women find their stretch marks fade, others don't so you may have to learn to live with them. My cousin was thin when she was pg & got huge ones on her tummy when she was 20 & she's in her 40's now and they are still there as much as they were when she got them. Other women I know got smaller ones & they faded quite well. Good luck.

I have never put anything on my stretch marks, either while pg or since.
I have also had s/m from before I was pregnant as I have gone up and down in weight a few times.

mine had always faded to a silvery colour, as AJP alluded to, you can see them, but you can't.

I never put anything on mine (my BB's were already MADE of stretchmarks as i was an A-cup aged 10 and a DD-cup age 12, but i got new ones on my tummy during PG) and they'd faded to silver by about 5-6 months PP. You can still see the silvery lines where they were, but only if you're really seeking - i'd wear a bikini, put it that way (though my chunky thighs are more of problem. LOL).

I wonder if skin-tone makes a differenc? I'm blonde with very pale "irish" skin (transparent it's so pale - my chest looks like a road map) and i get stretch marks easily but they fade fast. My GF is very dark with olive skin, it takes a lot for her to stretch (waist went from 23" to 40" during PG and she didn't get the stretchies until the last month) and she only got a few stretchmarks but they took more than a year to fade. But fade they did.....

Maybe try some Bio Oil, it's actually meant to help fade s/m (rather than prevent them unfortunately).

Mine have begun to fade and I had my bub in March. Mine were pretty full on too and are all over my stomach up to my belly button.

My stretchmarks are HUGE!!! They were dark purple when pg and now ove a year later they are still red, have faded heaps but still have a long way to go. My auntie and i were comparing stretchies the other week and my 7 year old cousin looked at my belly and yelled "OOOOHHHHHH WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!!!!" She was really concerned about me! Out of the mouths of babes....

i had stretch marks years ago from being majorly overweight, and they faded to a silvery colour all by themselves, so am hoping that my preg ones do the same.

Mine were only ever light purple but are now silvery, 7 months post birth. Your bb's would have them due to breastmilk enlarging them, not a bad bra (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Though a good bra is of course a lot better for you than a bad one!

im almost 35 weeks pregnant and i cant even remember when i got my first stretch mark after the test was positive. i feel like they just all of a sudden 'showed up' They're a reddish, purplish color and very long and past my belly button. My worry now is I hope that they fade. At least a minimal amount. Does anyone know of any creams, oils, home-remedies etc that might help out? Also, as odd as this may sound, maybe its normal, but i have strecth marks also on the top of my vagina? Is this normal? Do they fade as well?
    Thanks
