Think it was about 5 weeks, only cause DF couldn't hold off any longer it did hurt like the blazers though, and did so for quite a while after. Use lots and lots of lubricant! It was a weird feeling though, it hurt but inside it felt really numb..probably TMI you didn't need to hear! Lol
I had an epi and quite a few stitches so I didn't really want to do anything until the stitches had dissolved.
Thanks ladies. I'm asking because its our 6 year anniversary at the end of August. We were seperated for our 5 year so we didn't get to celebrate it very well so this year i wanted it to be really special. DP thinks it may be too early but honestly i feel fine. I'm not sure if my stitches have dissolved yet, they don't hurt and DP won't check them for me and i cant see down there.
I also want to before my 6 week check up so i can bring up any issues if there are any.
We tried at 8 and 12 weeks, and i really wish we hadn't... Ouch! DH is eager to try again soon, but i am going to give it at least another few weeks. I should have taken pictures of my stitches to remind him, as he seems to have forgotten how bad it was! I had 2nd degree tears going up towards my urethra, rather than down through my perineum, as well as some labial grazes. I couldn't even sit down on the toilet to pee until 6 weeks so i don't know what i was thinking at 8 weeks!
Best part of a year. But then I was single after I was about a week pregnant (booted the man out in rather 'interesting' circumstances before I knew I was pregnant), so I had to actually meet someone worth sleeping with first.
For a long time there I could say "last time I had sex I got pregnant" .... ugh.
Going to be a while with this one too - I'm sure all the bits are functioning, but we're in a small house, baby is in OUR bedroom, and we have a toddler that doesn't sleep well roaming the house that doesn't like it when mummy goes behind closed doors.
