I know, another painful DTD question

Sorry, but my question is similar but different. I am very dry and it is therefore tight and painful when DTD, therefore we don't attempt it much. Should I get it checked out? DS is 14 months and I had c/s. Does it get better the more you do it? I know it is worse now that I am expecting it to be sore, therefore probably tense up. We use heaps of lub, but it doesn't work. I am worried that when we start trying for #2 (#1 took 2 years) I wont be able to do it without lub and it is not recommended as can stop the sperm getting through - we need the optimum environment so it doesn't take 2 years again. Any thoughts?

Are you breastfeeding?? I posted a similar thread just recently and found out that low oestrogen can cause dryness and have been prescribed Ovestrin cream. I haven't started it yet but hopefully it works. I would talk to your GP about it. Someone on here also recommended Sylk lube as well which is natural. Good luck!

No I haven't breastfed in a long time, so it can't be that. I might go to the GP and ask. Can you find out if it is low via a blood test?

    Hi there
I too would go to your gp just to check it out... personal question but how were you in terms of dryness before DS?
WRT ttc #2, there's a lube called pre-seed that is very sperm friendly, a little expensive but did the trick for us...I can't speak highly enough of it actually!
    Hope this helps

a bit dry before as well, but it was never painful. Yeah I have heard of Pre-seed. I think we will have to give that a go when we are ready. Many thanks
