I look like one of those women from a National Geographic magazine! If I lean forward, my boobs look like a tennis ball in a stocking I would love to get mine done, but there are serious breast cancer issues in my family, and My mum would go nuts about it, - even though there is no known link to breast cancer. I have had 2 friends successfully feed with implants.

I went and got a properly fitted bra (Elle McPherson) and it has made a world of difference.

As a matter of interest, does anyone know how much they cost?

How long is a piece of string.. really depends on where you have them done. Anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000.

BFing depends on what type of implants you get, the surgeon's technique, and where they are sited.

There is the danger, no matter how carefully they are done, that BFing may not work. Better to wait IMO until you're done with bubbas (time to save up and then get them done).

It's worth consulting with a plastic surgeon (if you're serious) because it's possible what you might really want is a lift and not necessarily an augmentation.

    yes.....

OP, a GF of mine had them done but specifically requested the surgeon use a technique that would give her the best chance of BFing if she needed to later. She had to go to a couple of surgeons as some will only use one technique. She BF her last little guy fine.

Yep! However I don't want new boobs. Mine are apart of my passage into motherhood. Same as my stretch marks and crepe paper belly skin, and I feel lucky to have them.

I breastfed with them. Not a problem at all. Mine are under the muscle with a bustline incision. Mine were about $6000 in 2007, my surgeon has a private surgery within a private hospital here in Brisbane. Feel free to ask any questions xx
