    kind of embarrassing..

ok this is a bit embarrassing and if it hasn't happened to you can you just ignore it and pretend you never read it?

Has anyone else since they have been breastfeeding, developed heaps of litte blackheads on the underside of your boobs?

I just had a look under there the other day (trying to get some natural light onto the underside.....) and I noticed that they are covered in little blackheads - I've never had this problem before - they're all bumpy with them - I seem to sweat alot under there since breastfeeding so I was wondering if this might have something to do with it.

just knowing they are there is freaking me out.... there isn't a blackhead strip big enough to put on there..... what do I do about it????????

like I said - move on and pretend you never saw this if this isn't normal.....

I sweat a great deal underneath my breasts, which has been since starting breastfeeding. I have to reguarly wipe underneath them and some days even change bras a couple of times a day.
All I can suggest is keep the area as dry as you can and remember to exfoliate when in the shower.

exfoliate! of course - I will do that in the shower tomorrow.

It could be my black bra - but they're not actually black to look at they are just little bumps, it's not until you look closely that you can see what they are - don't talk to me about the neck strain I got trying to look closely at them.........

I will try the talcum powder too - I have put a light spray of deodorant under there before - they do tend to smell a bit funny when I sweat - not a sweaty smell but a funny kind of weird smell - it's not unpleasant or strong - but just not a 'me' smell. strange.

I'm afraid the deodorant might make things worse - it stops your skin from "breathing" even more than just sweating. Definitely exfoliate, use a gentle soap, and wear a cotton bra. Maybe try to get a bra with really good support that can "lift" you up enough to get a little air flow underneath?

I've had them for years LOL! Prior to breastfeeding... I should really exfoliate I am sooo lazy... mind you I am the only one that notices them I have to get up close to see them.

i'm with Cailin - even now, being a big busted girl, i get little black heads - and i haven't had the "pleasure" of breast feeding yet - i find they mostly rear their ugly heads (LOL) during summer if i wear a bra that isn't too supportive/made of more synthetic material (so all the really pretty/girlie bras that DH loves!), or if i get too lazy to exfoliate for a few days.

Yay - the joys of having boobs!

They are caused by sweating. I'm not sure if talc is a good idea it could make them worse. Exfoliate daily wash with soap and water often.

I got them in Darwin (very hot and humid and sweaty) when I was BF'ing Olivia.....I got rid of them quickly by exfoliating, and from then onwards changed my bras twice a day....

With Charlie I didn't get them, but he was a winter baby, so I am sure I wasn't as sweaty.

Got them back again with Lexie, same deal, a few days of exfoliating and it nipped it in the bud, and it has been hot here in SA, so I change my bras twice a day.......

    YOU ARE NORMAL! x
