Please don't feel like a freak - I'm sure many women suffer from embarrassing problems "down there" but it' not like we're standing around the coffee machine yacking about it, kwim? It must be a relatively common thing if the dr you saw downplayed it like that. The fact that it's causing you problems means you're entitled to get it dealt with. Hope the new dr is much better & listens to your concerns
