I never BF, so fell pregnant pretty much as soon as my DD was born....(in fact 5-6 weeks later..lol). They say BF can be a 'form' of contraception but cant always be reliable. So i guess theres always a chance you still could get UTD.....??
I want to ask something and please dont think I am stupid even after six kids.
Am I safe from falling pregnant as I am breast feeding this bubs? So if we were to use no protection would I not be able to fall pregnant as I am not getting AF at all. I dindt know you dont get AF while BF so learn something new every day for me.

Hey soul, i have never fallen pg whilst BF but it can happen.
I have a friend who's DD is now PG and she was BF her DD and hadnt had AF since bub was born. bub just turned one and she felt something kicking her, turns out she was 20wks pg. She kept telling her mum that she felt like she was pg and mum said nah you BF you cant be!!!!
By the way as for feeling stupid DON"T, becasue i don't think it matters how many pregnancy's and babies we have you can alway learn something new!!!!!
yep, although alot of people don't fall pregnant while BF, it can happen, so I would be using some other form of contraception as well hun!
awwwwww thank you kat, I didn't want to come across as an idiot!
Not likely soul, i haven't met a mum who knows everything yet, nor do i think i ever will.
Its amazing though how many people think that because we have 6 kids we should know it all!! But i believe there are always things that we won't know because you could have 10 kids and still not have issues that someone else may of had IYKWIM
SO TRUE!!!!!!! Every word of it!!!
Soul....I was fully BF'ing Charlie (he was only 5 months) when I fell pg with Lexie......(AND I was on the mini-pill!). AF had not returned for me, but I evidently ovulated.....and our beautiful Lexie girl is the result......so it can happen......
Lucy omg that is amazing, well Lexie sure had decided she wanted to come then and not after! lol I believe they choose when they want to come so she had other plans.
We actually want to have another so they are close in age.
Isn't it true that if you're bfing through the night as well then it is 98% effective contraception? Course there's always that 2% chance!!!
I have a friend who fell pg while bfing her first baby, before AF returned... Then she did the same thing again with her second, LOL! She'd had difficulty TTC no 1, but having a baby obviously made her rather fertileSo they had three under three.
My OB told us to use contraception whilst BF bcos there is a chance you can still ovulate without getting AF.
Me too. She is a special special little baby girl who was evidently meant to be here with us now. She is an old soul for sure....she has the most beautiful pink aura, and she is the perfect peice to the jigsaw of our family.lol I believe they choose when they want to come
I agree with everything you just said. She sounds like a crystal child to me. Has she got big b right eyes? That seem to look right into your soul? Crystal children tend to have very large eyes and very bright too and are mesmersing to look into.
Forgot to add with a pink aura she sure came with loads of love for you and yuou both must have been very closley connected in your last life together! A very speical bond.
Britney Spears breast fed, does that answer your question
Sorry just had to say it...
Can you guys see auras?
Oh, exciting. I can a bit too, but I never say anything in case ppl think I'm weird!
Really? Soul, that is fascinating..you sound like a true expert! Thank you. She HAS got the MOST amazing huge blue eyes.....they are like pools that I could dive into it! And she holds you in a gaze (lots of my friends have commented upon it.......)
When she was first born and plopped onto my chest, she looked at me & I knew that she "knew me" IYKWIM?
Snap of me and Lexie attached (any excuse to show her off, LOL!)
