Minipill & BF

Hi not sure if i'm posting this in the right section, but when i went for my 6 week c/u with OB he gave me a script for the minipill. I got script filled & opened up & read instructions which said to start taking pill on the first day of your menstrual bleed. As i'm BF my period hasn't returned yet so not sure whether i just start taking it anyway or wait for period. Sorry if this is a silly question but any advice is appreciated.

yep just take it. it is all the same pill over the 28 days

Yep Jo Jo, as Kathryn said, you can start taking it at any time after 6 weeks from birth. If you keep reading there is a section on bfing (or post birth, something like that) which says it is ok to start on any day.

Also, make sure you take it religiously at the same time every day.......(unless you want an ooopsie baby like my Lexie, LOL!)
