Yep... (and I changed it to me just incase it upset BTW) yep, I thought it would be a huger thing... even if you only have a small amount of breast tissue.

I say go for it Cougar!

I had NOTHING as a teen. Like not even fill a training bra nothing. It was horrible considering the rest of my body (back then anywho lol) was built for bigger boobs. I went and saw a surgeon about implants when I was 18 but he so wisely talked me out of it as I had not even had kids yet and in his 35+yr experience even the best implants still tend to bow to gravity and the rigours of pregnancy/breastfeeding so he advised me to wait and see how I felt after kids. Could have implants then or may get away with just a lift.

Turns out pregnancy gave me heck cool boobs so now I might only need a lift. Im more keen on the tummy tuck aspect but will have to wait til Im 110% sure there wont be anymore kiddos.

Youll be able to show em off when we hit the GC in June

TD, you sure can But again, DH thinks it's a stupid amount of money to spend on something 'shallow' (pfft, coming from a bloke who is blessed with a metabolism allowing him to eat as much as four people put together and never put on a pound! He's never had body image issues so doesn't know the cost would be soooo worth it for someone like me who is fighting an uphill battle against genetics!)... it's definitely on the wishlist and maybe if we manage to win Lotto one day it'll happen for me hehehe I'd be interested to hear how yours goes so I can find out a bit more about it - it's not just pregnancy that's made me this way, I've always had a problem with excess skin around my middle so diet and exercise aren't going to cure it!

Ah I have a (ex)husband like that Donna - he makes me sick the way he eats whatever and is still stick thin. Lucky for me he said if he gets an o/s trip with work sometime soon because Im so fabulous a (ex)wife and mother he would foot the bill for a tummy tuck provided I figure out what weight I want to be, get there and stick to it.

I'll take a flat tummy over saggy boobs anyday - Im fine with push up bra's but man Id love to burn my granny undies

I so hear you on that Anna. Doesn't it sh*t you that the nice undies always finish just above the pubic area My apron tummy sits over the undies.

Did you guys know that a tummy tuck is a medically required procedure for most women? It usually costs around $10k but when the surgeon puts it through as medically required, it's only $5k but you must have private health insurance as it requires a 3 day hossie stay.My tummy tuck is scheduled in for next august.

My DH is one of those stick figures that can eat everything. But then again his work is pretty active and mine is sedentary.

Baths - best ask a plastic surgeon your Q. There are some surgeons which offer free first consultations, won't hurt to book in and ask. Nothing to lose, all that to gain.

Hmmm... that's the thing though... even if I was a bigger cup size that wouldn't make everything perfect. I have seen some very attractive A cups girls in my time... There was this girl I went to uni with... she was totally flat but she wore fitted t-shirts etc that even accentuated her flatness and all the guys thought she was gorgeous. She was the kind of person that avoided fake things too... I could never see her having a boob job.

Ah... I think at the end of the day I would rather spend the money on travelling... 10K could fund a family trip to Europe... might even allow us to live there if we could get work. I was reading a biography by Mary Moody (ABC presenter) who started with a bit of Botox... then had a face lift... she kinda liked it for a while but then realised that the need to alter her body would never end... there would always be something else. I'm worried that if I start i couldn't stop...

The people on Dr. 90210 who have had countless surgeries say that it is addictive.

So i can understand where you are coming from Baths.

Mine began as a boob job only. The next minute, i was going to see the surgeon for the second time about getting a tummy tuck and a chin lift.

The tummy tuck is definitely on the agenda...from there only God knows!

hmmmm, may be a brazilian butt augmentation

Yeah, I don't mean to be a wet blanket or anything... so thanks for understanding TD I suppose for this to be a good thread there has to be the good and the bad. I mean, I'm reasonably happy with myself... DH moreso. Maybe I also worry that it would send the wrong message to my 14yo DD

i guess if you're happy, Dh is happy then why change anything? If i was somewhat happy with what i've got then why would i spend all that money and go through all that pain?

    totally understandable.

I had mine done nearly 6 years ago.

    Well worth every cent!

Cost me about $9,000 at the time. The surgeon I went to based the type of implants on your body type and he also gave 3 sizes of recommendations to try in your bra to get rough idea of what you'd like. Personal I'd recommend going for the biggest cause pretty much anyone I know thats had it done has and even then alot say they'd like to be bigger.

I stayed one night in hospital, had drains in both breasts overnight. Pain wise wasn't overally bad cause alot meds make me nasueted I pretty much just took panadol and an anti-inflamotry drug. Pain was mainly an ache when I'd get up in the morn, very hard to do to til you get used to them. Also you have to sleep elevated so that makes a good night sleep very hard.

If I had $$$ I would so get more stuff done, join you girls on flatter tummy, maybe suck bit out my ass and thighs.

Oh and you can claim on your tax return under medical expenses part, not sure what the threshold is now but anything after that you can claim 20% back.

    Hey Shel,

so i guess you had silicone implants, if you had the drains in them.

What size were you and what did you become? Which plastic surgeon did you see?

Personal I'd recommend going for the biggest cause pretty much anyone I know thats had it done has and even then alot say they'd like to be bigger.
That is what i'm scared of. Getting them done and then thinking "sh*t, i should've had them bigger"

They're actually the silicone ones. I went and saw Mr Rubestein at Epworth, he was really nice.
I went from A cup to D, and now that I've put on weight I think oh I need bigger, lol, at the time I was about 9kg lighter. You will so love them. I used to get depressed buying bras and tops now love it. When I first got them I was constantly checking myself out, lol.
I will look tomor for what size and type I got I have it in my draw upstairs but can't wake bubs looking for it.

I've heard of him. My friend is wanting to get a tummy tuck through him and then i told her that she could have it for half the price through my doc and now she's going to see my doc.

Geez, A to D. They must look lovely.

Did you play with them when you first got them? i can't wait to play with mine

Yeah you can't help yourself, besides you have to play with them for your exercises. I got given different things I had to do with them.

i know you have to massage for a few weeks, but doesn't it hurt initially when you do do the massage?

How long did you have to wear the special bra for?

Wasn't really painful just bit of an ache. I can't remember now how long I wore the bra for, so long ago now. I think it took a while for them to settle down now they feel alot softer and normal.

i just watched an episode of Dr. 90210 and this topless dancer had implants done which were FF In each implant there was 1880mls of saline. FFS she was carrying close to 4 litres just on her chest.

She got them taken out coz shes no longer a topless dancer and is back at school. The amount of excess skin she had removed on her chest was unbelievable. Now she's down to a D.

She said she made a lot of money through her FF breasts
