Hi Kate,
I would ring your local chemist and check with them just to be on the safe side. When I left hospital I was given all sorts of prescriptions and then after speaking with my midwife found out that the obstetrician I had was a rotating intern and had only been there a week and didn't really know what he was talking about. I find it better to check and be on the safe side for my own sanity. I double checked on everything when I was pregnant and found my chemist to be really helpful, it's only a quick phone call and will give you peace of mind. I found my chemist to much better informed about whats safe to use in pregancy and breastfeeding than my local GP, lol.
