If you are still seeing dr A as your ob/gyno, don't go and see him for this problem because all he will recommend is a hysterectomy and the birch sling op - afterall you've had 5 kids so you don't need your uterus anymore. There is a contenence nurse/physio that works out of the forrest centre and I'd be dealing with her as opposed to a surgeon (dr A) as this is their area of speciality, whereas a surgeon will only want to do a surgical option. But as you said, you are only a few months post partum after having 5 kids. I would probably just work on pelvic floor exercises (squats/kegels etc) first and see a physio.
