They will definitely come back if you do your exercises. You only gave birth 7 weeks ago! Give yourself some time.

Keep the faith, it will happen...you might need some extra help if you're having problems judging whether you're doing the exercises right...that loss of sensation can make it a bit trickier. Believe it or not there are physios & nurses who deal specifically with female problems like this - so might be worth chatting with your dr and finding one.

BTW I doubt your DH will ever notice the difference...let's face it, if it's been a while, it's unlikely there will be any complaints

junglemum - i am trying to do it more often! the loss of sensation makes it a bit hard tho, it discourages me a bit!

Marydean - hahahaha you prob have a point there! however........... WARNING TMI comming up so look away if you want..... DH said after DD1 things were much "tighter" than ever before so i worry he will definatly notice the difference this time and i already no longer feel attractive after having 2 babies so i don't need to know that things arn't as good down there as they use to be IYKWIM?!
And apparently i am doing it right, but it needs work! i think at my pap smear i might ask about it than if still not good enough i might liike into asking for some help!

Are you walking heaps? I noticed mine got alot better when i walked heaps. And i couldnt feel them properly for about 3 months. whenever i peed i would feel like it was all going to fall out and i couldnt sit on the floor as it hurt too much.

Give your body time to recover and as for a difference my DP noticed a difference but he said it was better but now i am tighter (TMI) then i was before

Thanks KaileysMummy! haven't done much walking due to all the rain but its starting to clear up so will certainly get back on it!
I don't have any issues pee'ing however in saying that i haven't felt a "busting" urge to go for ages! i wonder if that has anything to do with it? i never feel like i need to go - i just think i haven't been awhile so i go!

Hmmm i think i might stay away from DH for awhile! Until things get better!
