Over here in China they are huge business. you can get every kind made from every type of matterial. I think every women here has some kind of corsette in her closet. I would recommend 1s you can adjust. Here you can get 1s that have a million hooks and do up the front, tube style 1s and bandage style. The bandage style, to me look the best but time consuming and in summer perhaps not the best idea but you have total control over how tight you make it- there is a certain way to bind them so you need to learn that.
The open weave hook style are most popular here and like I said most women just seem to wear them. Brand names I cant help with though sorry
