    Question Post Natal Belly Binding?

Did you? have you heard of it? I have been doing a bit of looking into it, quite interesting reading.
Now I am considering TTC no 2, Ive been thinking of the possibilty of ending up with another cs, this looks like it mght be a good thing post surgery/nataly.
Im interested as to weather anyone has done it and what the results were? TIA!

After I had DD the physiotherapist who came to see me after the birth suggested I use a belly binding type wrap as my muscles were very separated. I don't know if it was related to the first CC or not. He suggested it may have been the way I carry my bub (all out in front and pointy) and that I was pretty slim to begin with. He did a test with me laying down and lifting my head from the floor. To check separation you feel with your fingers just above your navel how far the musles feel apart. "Normal" is approx 2 fingers width, I could easily fit 4 fingers between mine. I think the support helped. Definitely felt good to have the extra support anyway!

Are these the same as a bellybandit? Im thinking of getting one, but getting someone to help with sizing is a nightmare!

I just started a thread on sizing - if your normal waist is bigger than 33" I have an elastic waist thingy here I can send you for the cost of postage lol

It is WAY too big for either of us - my partner has a paunch too.

The one I was looking at was vespa and the ladybird.

Tubigrip seems to be a common thing after cs, wish Id known about it before mine!
