Qu about AF after birth and BF

OK so I had the normal locia until about 5wks then at 7wks some break through bleeding which I suspected might be AF as DD was very fussy for the 3 days or so that it continued. At the time she was going 6-7 hrs at night between feeds. I then got another bleed at 11wks so I figured yep AF is back. That was on the 3rd of June and I haven't had any sort of AF since. With my DS I got AF back at 8mth despite still nearly exclusively BF (he was a boob man) and my cycles went straight back to the usual 28-30days without missing a beat, so questions.....

Anyone else who normally had regular cycles after baby go back to have irregular cycles after another baby?

Could it be that she hasrecently started feeding more at night and thus thrown my cycle out again?

I have had a lot of cramping for the past 3-4 days but no AF is this normal post natal cramping? DD is now nearly 18wks old

Obviously I suppose their is the big question about possibly being pg which is a possiblity as our birth control methods are not foolproof but I don't feel pg.

    Would really appreciate any feedback

I really don't know how to answer, so i'll just tell you my cycle since Izzy...

I had 9weeks of bleeding, bleed for a week when she was 12/13weeks, and havn't had anything but a smear of blood 3 days ago... that was it... so i am wondering the same thing!

Not that i am complaining about not having a period... hehe

Oh def not complaining here either but I guess I'm still used to a predictable cycle I don't like it when my body plays tricks on me and you know Cass that I would love to have another bubba so I guess that is lurking in the back of my mind there (or maybe at the front) I may just have to go POAS for one last hoorah as Dh is going in for his snip next month (or so he says)

I know what you mean about liking the predictability, Before izzy my Af was every 28days, 3days long, didn't skip... know i wouldn't know what its doing...
