    Silly Question but Curious??

    Hi guys,

I was cleaning out my cupboard and found the doppler I used when I was pregnant with Danielle. I don't know why I did it but I thought what the hell and lubed up my tummy and put it on my tummy. Whilst moving it over I found a spot that I could hear a beat of some sort which kinda shocked me. It was just beside my hip bone and just above my pubic bone on the right side. I'm guessing it was part of me that I was hearing but I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and found anything?

As I said I know it's a silly question but I'm just curious to see if anyone has done it and if they heard anything. I got too scared to keep going to see if I found anything else elsewhere.

I wonder if it was your pulse you were hearing?
Possibly your femoral artery, which is one of the big ones that runs through your pelvis.

Are you sure there's not another bub in there

I kinda wish there was another bubba in there but DH would freak! I have to get the double story put on first before he will try for another (hopefully it's finished this time next year). I did try again and counted the beats and it came out at 72 so there's no way it's a bubba so it's me. I'm thinking now it's quite funny!!

I miss my belly and all the fun we used to have when I poked and she kicked back but I guess I have my belly in my arms now which is totally better. Let's just hope everything goes to plan (yeah right! Just had a break thru bleed on my pill - not impressed!! I've gone to the doc and checked - no bubba - just in case - hehehehe!!).

If it was near your hip, I would say it is your Femoral Artery too. It would have quite a strong pulse, not unlike a heartbeat.

Bet it made your heart skip a beat at first LOL.
