Red face Strange Question *TMI - blush*

If this is not the right forum, please move - do not know where to post

Ok, so this morning me and DH had a little "mommy-and-daddy" time, kwim. Afterwards DH tells me to come lay in his arm, he holds me tight and ask me if I am pregnant *my heart almost stopped*
I said no, I just had AF and NO WAY I am pregnant. I ask him why. He tells me I am lactating!!!!!!!
So I pinch my nipple and true as HELL there are milk coming out of me!!!!!!!!! Not much just watery milk and only like two or three drops. Both breasts. I stopped b'fing 7 months ago.
    IS THIS NORMAL???!?!??!?!?!?!?!
ps. Did not do HPT, must I? Don't feel pregnant

Sorry but i found this amusing. My milk did not dry up completely before i fell pg again and i had stopped bf'ing for 10 months it never just dripped etc but i could squeeze it out or in the shower i would leak iykwim. As far as i was aware it was normal so dont stress. Maybe DH just wants you to be pg again

I can laugh about that!! I do think DH wants me pg again, but I am not really ready yet.
I did try to get some out after I stopped b'fing and nothing. No leaking, no squeezing, nothing. I took a hormone pill to stop lactating. Now all of a sudden?

The hormone pill...do you still take it? It might have been supressing the last little bit most of us have. I still have milk a year after DD weaned from the breast. My friend has it still, her youngest weaned 11 YEARS ago!!! It's pretty normal, don't worry about it.

I heard that once you start lactating, your body ahs the ability to lactate for the rest of your life?
I might be completely wrong, but its scary thinking that I could have some leakage issews at 70 years of age!!!! eeek!

I also know someone who was still lactating 12 months after stopping breastfeeding. And yep I ahve heard it normal too.

Yes, I also could still squeeze a few drops out now and then at least a year after weaning DD#1. And oxytocin, which triggers milk let-down, also is released during sex, so it would make sense that you would notice it then, and not other times.
