I know there are a million threads on stretchmarks but I can't seem to find them in my sleep and food deprived state lol..
Anyway is bio oil (that $14 stuff) any good at helping to reduce the color of stretchmarks? Being $14 I don't have any faith in it's ability really lol.
Also are there any creams that can help speed up the fading process? I've sort of resigned myself to the fact that stretchmarks are here to stay (got no choice really do I) just wondering if there was anything to help 1. reduce the redness and 2. reduce the shine? Or is it a matter of waiting for nature to do it on its own? Took my hips most of my highschool life to fade I'm not lookin forward to waiting till I'm 30 before I want to wear a swim suit without a tshirt..
I used it all through my pregnancy and have been using it after (when I remember and my stretch marks didnt really even show up until after bub was born and I think it would partly be from the bio-oil. I use it on my face too and I have found that a scar I have on my forehead (6 stitches!) has really faded since using it so I think its great! Just my 2cents worth!
I used Bio-Oil throughout my pregnancy. I only received a couple of stretchmarks on my sides the day before I had Nina, which have all faded now. I use it on a daily basis still.
I tried it but the smell gave me a headache so I stopped using it and went back to the Palmers cocoa butter stuff.
I got lots of stretchmarks but I also got them in my teens when I had a growth spurt so I am prone to them anyway.
They have faded now and no one knows they are there till I point them out. I've had plenty of stretchmark comapring sessions with my friends ROFL
I used bio oil during my pregnancy, and it only took about two weeks for me to notice a difference. It really reduced the redness of the stretchmarks. I'd definately recommend bio oil.
