Is it too early for AF?

I've had this headache now for 3 days. It's the type of headache I used to get just before AF came. Is it too early for AF to be back already? I didn't get any until Miss J was about 4/5 months.

Nope, not too early. I always got AF back at 6-8 PP, and I fully breastfed my 2 DD's.

Is it too early for AF?

I got mine back at 6 weeks and then 4 weeks was still fully bfing too. I found that the girls didn't like my milk either on the few days before I was due, with dd1 she would have ebm instead.

with my first I bled for six weeks and then AF was back 4 weeks later and continued from there. With my second bled for two weeks and then nothing for 8 months. With my third bled for just over a week and nothing for 6 months so I think it varies greatly from person to person and birth to birth but it certainly wouldn't be too early. All breastfed babies although the first was more a four hourly feeder than the other two

Not at all. I got mine back 8 weeks post partum. Felt rather jibbed as I was BFing every 1.5 hours all day, every day! Started taking the mini pill soon after that and didn't get AF after that, thank goodness.

    I guess we're just a fertile bunch!
