I finally finished BF a few months ago after 6 years of constant pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. Yesterday I went to the city and was hoping to buy some new bras. It turns out my breasts are now uneven. I can get a good fit on one side, but then lefty is swimming and if I get that one sorted then the other side is bulging over the cup.
What do I do? Is it just a matter of trying different styles/brands of bra to find one that is a middle ground for the girls?
I feel your pain- my girls have been uneven ever since high school & although I was told pregnancy & breast feeding would even them out it never happened. I get fitted every couple of years & have been told to buy a bra that fits the larger size & pad the other if needed. Good luck!
I have this problem although I'm still feeding (over 4 years so far) and will be for a while yet I think (youngest is 15mo), both favoured the left so it is now substantially bigger. I'm really hoping they will even out someday, although I'm getting worried as DD2 has started feeding mostly from the right side but neither seemed to alter size (I did get a blocked duct and bout of mastitis though in the process lol).
I just fit to the larger one. I find t-shirt style bras (full cup type) the best, so the cup has a lot of coverage which seems to make it much much harder for the little one to fall out the gaping top when bending over if that makes sense.
I have the same problem. Righty is a cup size bigger I would say. DS is only 6 weeks old and favours righty so I'm hoping it doesn't get even bigger! It's noticeably bigger now though than after I had DD.
I'm really hoping they even out eventually but not holding my breath. I've always bought bras to fit the bigger one. Never gone to the extent of padding lefty but may need to depending on what happens after BF this time.
Has anyone seriously considered a boob job post-babies? I've thought about it but never that seriously. I'd be too terrified of everything that could go wrong! Then again, ask me in a couple of years!
I have this issue too Arte, the nooboob doesn't match the other one. I've been avoiding underwires (not fabulous) but also anything on a tshirt style or a comfy cotton blend that has a degree of stretch in the fabric seems accommodate the difference more evenly. And I wear more patterned tops & I'm growing my collection of big chunky necklaces & scarves because they draw the eye away .
Mine were always uneven - BF made a bit worse, haven't quite finished BF but back down to almost same size as before - I just buy for bigger side haven't padded out - but I can see the difference even under clothes.
