    wearing a bikini

I am planning on going to Hawaii in march and am serioulsy debating whether to buy a bikini or not?
I have pretty bad stretch marks on my stomach and waste but should I be worried.
I have a beautiful baby to show for them!!!

Does anyone else wear a bikini post baby? and do you have scars/marks from your pregnancy?

I have stretch marks on my hips, which are fading, but still wear a bikini. I don't exactly have a 'bikini body' either, I'm a size 14, but I have a bikini top and wear short bordies. I feel the same, I've had a beautiful baby to show for them. The things we go through hey!

Hehe, interesting thread. I went swimming for the first time since having Caty (10ish weeks ago) today and I have heaps of stretches....I wore my usual two peice (hmmm, adidas..not really bikini-ish but still) and to my utter suprise.....I was quite happy to walk around showing the world my war wounds! Made me feel great just knowing that everyone who saw me would know I was a proud mother!
So Tracey, GO FOR IT GIRL! Enjoy your hol

I have always worn bikini's, (i used to be a size 6 before i started having kids, now have stretched out to a 10-12) im lucky i dnot have too many stretchies, only a couple around my waist. And they've faded. If im having a bad day (or i cant be bothered tidying up down there) ill wear boardies, but mostly i just wear kini's on their own!!

Enjoy your holiday you lucky duckie

well ladies I did it I bought a bikini and I wasnt at all worried about wearing it.
It was so nice to wear them.
I got an underwire top for DDto E cups so my boobs were sitting up where they should ( which they werent in my old bathers )

I was so not worried about what people thought and I actually felt really sexy in them.

I am glad that us mums can still feel sexy even if we have some war wounds to show for your beautiful bubs

    Good on ya!!!!!
I say TOUGH to anyone who has a problem with you wearing your bikini,,,,,,if they dont like it,,, they can stop staring lol.
My tummy even though it has no marks from this pregnancy,,, looks like a roadmap from my previous pregnancies,,,,yet i walk around my house with my shirt lifted right up and tucked into the waistband of my bra, or a bikini top on with shorts,,, just to keep my belly cool. My boys asked what they were, i told them honestly and they are fine with that,,, and so am I. I think they are a tiny price to pay for our beautiful children

thanks ladies I agree the stretch marks i would have 10 times worse to have a baby. if it was no stretch marks or a baby i would choose bubs hands down

we should be proud of what we look like a guess, we cant all be supermodels
