Question What breast pads do you use?

Just curious what breast pads people have found to be the best?

I still have some Pigeon ones left from DS but cant remember if it was those or the Johnson & Johnson ones that would stick to my nipple, causing what was already a blistered nipple to bleed.

This time round i just want to be a little prepared on what to use. Whether using washable ones are better or a certain brand of disposables?

    TIA!

    Hi Kell,
I wasn't really that "leaky" sos didn't end up needing anything too absorbent.

I liked the Johnson and Johnson ones, but they are a little pricey. I used washable. They were Tomee Tippee Brand.

I love the Johnson and Johnson ones. Wasn't a fan of the Pigeon only because they have plastic backs and don't let it any air through, which made sore nipples much worse. [I]Don't[I] use Rite-Aid- they are awful.

Kell I had the same prob as you..I used both of what you used and found one made my nipples really itchy and they would stick. Like you I have no idea what ones they were.

So far I've been using Rite Aid & haven't had any problems with them. I have a stash of Johnsons & Pigeon ones that I haven't used yet.

For cloth ones I have some Avent ones but I find if my nipples aren't completely dry when I put them on that they stick which can be painful. I also have two pairs of Mazalicious ones which are really great, they don't even feel like you're wearing them.

I tried J & J with both my kids and they ALWAYS stuck - I used Pigeon and stocked up on special as I had huge supply and leaked until 6 months
