    Pain 5mths after c/section

I've been getting soreness/pain around my left ovary for about a month now, along with the area at the LH end of my scar. Sometimes it's sort of stretchy pain, other times more burny and at times deeper like bad ovulation pain. The scar has also got redder at that end. I had endo removed from both ovaries 6 weeks before DS was conceived. I've still got the tummy numbness but know that's normal.

My MCHN was keen for me to get it checked, so I went to my GP last week and after much poking and prodding he said that the left side definitely felt different to the right. I had an u/s today but apart from saying that I didn't look like I was ovulating any time in the next few weeks, I didn't get much information. She couldn't see much through the scar area but apparently the equipment is not good for that anyway.

Has anyone experienced anything like this or got any advice? Apart from the pain/uncomfortableness, I am keen not to 'let it go' and see what happens as it that's what happened when I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and they didn't follow up about endo and then it took 12 mths of TTC and then a lap to conceive. I'm 38 and don't want to have that sort of situation again when we TTC no2. Or maybe I'm just being anxious.

I'm sorry you're experiencing that. There are some longterm ramifications to caesarean surgery which include adhesions that can feel a little like what you're describing. You can access a variety of healing modalities for assistance with but I suggest homeopathy and kinesiology particularly for their gentleness, since you don't need anything more invasive after major surgery. Your own gut feeling that you should investigate it is the best guide IMO. Making sure you're having lots of zinc and vitamin c (sodium ascorbate) can assist you with healing the tissues well, which generlally takes a year before you're back to perfection again. Hope you have some answers soon.

Thanks Janet. I'm taking lots of zinc and will up my Vit C. I've been seeing my osteopath and she has been working on muscles in there. I took arnica after the c/s - maybe I should check out about having some more now...will talk to my naturopath.
