My period returned 2 days ago despite breastfeeding, so 7 weeks, 5 days after Birth.

With my first, my period didn't come back at all - after two years of breastfeeding I fell pregnant with my second. Elijah is now 8 months and I know I am ovulating, but no period! Yeah I know, call me a cow! I'm just glad it's not something else I have to deal with right now!!

AF turned up on Saturday - Exactly 11 weeks post birth. So annoyed!!! I am breastfeeding every 2 hours day and night apart from a 4 hour break when Hannah has her not-so-big "big" sleep.

With DD2 I breastfed for 12 months, AF came when she was 10 months. So 10 months of no AF! I finished b/f DD1 at 6 months and AF came a month later.

    Still nothing 8-[

    If you don't include post-natal bleeding, I haven't had a period in 4.5 years 8-[

    That's awesome, Kelly!

Mine came back properly last month because I cut right down on my BFing. I had some spotting the previous two months but I don't count that as full-blown AF. I also felt ovulation pains last month like I have never felt before! I told DH to stay away from me!! LOL

That's awesome Kelly, you lucky girl!!

I stopped BFing about 4 weeks ago and haven't had anything yet - but I think they're on their way.....

I was expecting at least a couple more months without AF because DD2 is fully BF'd!! No fair, body!!
I got a script for the mini-pill yesterday but haven't even been to the chemist to get it!

Just got mine back today, 4 months, 3 weeks and 3 days after giving birth to my DD. I was not really expecting it so soon since she is still feeding (exclusively from the breast) every 2hrs during the day but since she usually has a 6-8hr stretch over-night I am not completely shocked.

Although, it has DF broaching the "so we can try for another now?" subject... ekk!!

does that mean you are going again Kelly???

wish I knew when I was ovulating so I could plan BDing (PCOS makes it very unclear to know when ovulation is happening)

Would love to have another one now, hopefully I am pregnant now, wouldn't that be great, no more IVF YIPPEE!!!

Bel, does observing CM help? Or is that useless with PCOS too?
