    Unhappy Are you KIDDING me?!?!?!

I think I have my period again. GRRRRRRRRRRR! Well, I think so... WDYT? AF or should I toddle off to the dr?

I feel like I've only just stopped bleeding. It slowed down at 4 weeks, and I got CM tinged with brown until 2 weeks ago. About two weeks ago I was getting EWCM, notcied just because I'm used to noticing all that now, had a fleeting thought that I might have been ovulating (got some midpain too), thought nothing of it as most people I've talked to didn't get AF until 6-12 months after the birth (well, those who were breastfeeding). 2 days ago I was getting cramps, like AF cramps, but didnt think anything of it... yesterday pink spotting, today very light flow.

Well that might explain the mood swings the last week (sorry lol) and bloating... *sigh* so unfair lol.

    Sounds like AF to me.

I know several people who have kids who are less than 12 months apart in age so they clearly got AF back pretty quickly, and they were all breastfeeding.

Sorry that she didn't give you much of a break

It is possible that you have AF, although that would make you pretty unlucky. It could also just be a "bleed" without it being AF. After DS1 I thought AF had returned a couple of weeks after my lochia stopped. Luckily it wasn't, so don't despair yet. If you haven't had your 6 week check up yet, you could ask then, although it is unlikely they would be able to tell much. You probably will have to ride this out and hope you don't get another one in 4 weeks or so. Fingers crossed it's not AF hun, that would really suck.

Yup everyone said that to me too, lo and behold it was. Exclusively BFing, AF returned 5 weeks post partum. And then at 8weeks, 10 weeks, 13 weeks ... 26 weeks ... and I think I O'ed yesterday so that would make it sometime around 34-35 weeks when she is due.

Sorry hun . Apparently we're in the unlucky 2% but I think it's a load of ol' tosh.

Sounds like AF. Sorry. I too got AF when exclusively b/f, with both times. It sucks doesn't it.

I have always gotten AF back, and I have exclusively breastfed 5 times!! And always fully b/f to 6 months.

As you can see, I've fallen pregnant a few times in that 6 months....

Sorry hon, you could be one of the unlucky ones too....

    Believe me, I hear ya.

I got mine 6 weeks after giving birth. I then went on the pill and it didn't agree with me so I went off it so I got another AF. Yay. Not. I then went on a different pill and it didn't agree with me so went of it. AF again. So that's 3 AF's and bubs is only 3 months old.

I'm on the minipill now and it has 28 active tablets. I have no idea what effect it might have on my AF but one of the side effects listed is missing an AF. I wish!!!!!!

I can relate. I got AF at 6 weeks 5 days post birth. What is amusing was DS EDD was only 6 days prior, he was just in a hurry and arrived early.
