Yeah, I will make an appointment and get myself checked out. I've taken two panadol and the pain has eased a little, thank you.

Have you had any dramatic changes in your routine or diet lately Dianne? Stress levels? It's just something I'm throwing out there because any changes can even lengthen my period and change flow rate/pain quantity/ etc.

No changes really apart from turning 41, it could just be old age .

    Who's old Dianne?

Surely you don't mean you? You're still a spring chicken!

Go to your local chemist and ask for naprogesic or period pain relief. I use it for my horrible pains i get because of my PCOS.

    hope you feel better soon.

Dianne. Do you have history of endometroisis? Just wondering because my periods used to be like that, pain would last for up to a week after AF finished. I had a lot of adhesions pulling and tugging everything causing the pain. If it's on going every month, definitely get it checked out. I went too long thinking the pain was normal for me.

I hope it's just a one off thing for you.

Never really had any problems in the past, always regular and the pains were bearable. Probably just over the last 12mths I would have a few irregular cycles and they became more painful. Never ever use to get back pains but now always do.

    Regards,
    Dianne
