I'm not sure of your age ... BUT when i turned 35 my periods that were a breeze suddenly turned to hell ... hug clots too (sorry for TMI) ... and my Doctor said it can be quite common for woman when they get past the 35 age mark ... anyway, after about 2 year of my periods being very heavy they got much better (hardly ever get clots) ...but i still can no longer stand using tampons which never bothered me before !!

(Also the GP told me i didn't eat enough red meat ???)

hi, i am 28 after birth of baby i had 2 months of spotting then two months of periods this being the second month, first was failry normal i would say. After birth i bled for 7 weeks.

i think the issue is i am not clotting the way i should be but its slowed down a bit today yay! but if it continues i will get it checked out. I have a tendency of loosing my lining intact im just glad that didn't happen this time
