I honestly can't remember the brand names, it's been years since I used one...but they're available at chemists, online and at sexual health organisations...made from PU, I think.
Nice and smooth and soft. No need for lube to insert or anything.
That's right, no drying out, no stickiness or getting stuck
Although it does take a bit of practice at first, I don't think it took any longer to learn to use than tampons
I couldn't use tampons until AFTER i lost my virginity i was just too tight LOL
and i prefer to use them. I just squat and insert it as far as my finger will go. I havent been able to use them yet. Only because its all still a bit too loose and i can feel it.
Applicator tampons aren't just for the short-fingered! Since having Sam I've actually gone back to using them... Something just seems different and I can no longer get the regular ones to go in easily and sit comfortably, but the applicator ones are fine. I also find that because they are longer than regular tampons, they cope with clots a bit better.
You remove it kind of squatting over the loo so does spill but all gets flushed away. To remove you just squeeze and twist to break the seal, then gently pull downwards. There is a stem which you can use whilst you get used to it but in the long term it is more comfortable to cut it off.
