My cycle on the odd occasion goes all weird just for one month, who knows why.
If its still funny you can mention it when you go for your pap smear, how annoying at that Dr tho!
I get terrible Ovualtion pains too, some months can abrely walk. As for period pain I was the opposite, pre baby got it bad, post its no where near as painful.
If you are concerned can't hurt to go have a chat with your Gp (or find a new one)
