wow MD that is amazing! so cool to have the detail too!

GothMum: my friend in gladstone (!! ) also has a real gift for this stuff. she rarely harps on about it, but when i was pg with DD she rang me up and told me that my baby was coming at 38 weeks. i was 36 at the time and just laughed it off. sure enough at 38 +1 i went into labour...
she can see many things but only ever really discusses it with me as her family is quite religious and she doesnt want to freak them out.

I have had my own experiences, but over the years have been (i think rather effectively!) blocking it out. in all honesty i just dont like being able to see or communicate on that level as i have found that sometimes it doesnt leave you alone. it is a gift to have but it does come with pretty serious responsibilities too.

HTH and good luck!! hopefully you are holding your bubba in your arms today! LOL!

I maybe on a different track here BUT when my sister was pregnant i had the same dream three times ... i was in small loungeroom in an old house with a fire place and a little toddler walking straight up to me, i couldn't see my sister & BIL there but i could sense they were standing to the side of me. I couldn't tell if the toddler was a boy or girl other than the fact they were wearing a pink dress ... their hair was the most gorgeous copper colour with big brown eyes ... and strangely their face looked similar to mine at the same age.

I told my sister when she was pregnant & she said she had a friend whom studied dreams & if you dream of a girl it means the baby due is a boy.

Well, my sister DID have a boy ... with gorgeous copper coloured hair with big brown eyes ... and yes, he looked like me at the same age (and everyone mention just that to confirm it) ... For me it was so special that i saw him before anyone else did in a DREAM

A (paid) psychic told me that I would: find a small place to live within the next few weeks (came true), that DP should start looking for work immediately as his current work won't last (came true), that I would get pregnant and deliver in feb (wasn't trying and am now due 27/01/10 . . . and expecting to be late!) and that i'd have a boy (remains to be seen). She also knew my maternal grandfather died of emphysemia and pneumonia within the last few years (I gave her no information about him) and that my paternal grandfather died many years ago (I didn't even bring him up).

Lol funnily enough she was a bit off the mark this time... It was neither Tuesday nor Thursday - it was a Sunday. The time was off, too - I was having contractions on and off from about 5pm, then it was 3am that they *really* got started and I went to the hospital (but, at least she was right about the 'it will be cold' thing - it was in the middle of a week-long cold snap and the middle of the night, so it was FREEZING), and my waters breaking definitely wasn't the first sign, I had to ask the midwife to break them for me when I'd been sitting at 10cm for over an hour!!

But she knew I'd had bub, I was home the same day and she actually told BIL before DH and I had a chance to call him - her son is friends with BIL and she rang her son to ask him if anything had happened yet - she had another feeling, and BIL said, 'Well she must have, then' and came home to check in with DH - I was already home and sitting on the couch snuggling with bub!!
