He must have some unfinished business still, possibly just making sure your alright before he 'really' goes kwim. Enjoy these moments Chrissy. Another thing I noticed when my friend passed away were significant songs popping onto the radio and TV - see if this happens too.

My mum lost her first DH when she was 21 & my brother was only 3 months old. Her DH stayed around visiting her every night until she met my dad & her fist DH said his goodbyes to her & left. When I was younger I thought maybe she was making it up (horrible of me I know but I was only a child & it sounded very strange to me) but now I have no doubt thats the way things happened.
Hearing your story made me think of my mums experience.
